The Wonderful Husband

Several men are in the locker room of a golf club. A mobile phone on a bench rings and a man engages the hands-free speaker function and begins to talk. Everyone else in the room stops to listen.

MAN: 'Hello'

WOMAN: 'Honey, it's me.. Are you at the club?'

MAN: 'Yes'

WOMAN: 'I am at the mall now and found this beautiful leather coat. It's only $1,000. Is it OK if I buy it?'

MAN: 'Sure, go ahead if you like it that much.'

WOMAN: 'I also stopped by the Mercedes dealership and saw the new 2009 Models. I saw one I really liked.'

MAN: 'How much?'

WOMAN: '$98,000'

MAN: 'OK, but for that price I want it with all the options.'

WOMAN: 'Great! Oh, and one more thing...the house I wanted last year is back on the market. They're asking $950,000'

MAN: 'Well, then go ahead and give them an offer of $900,000. They will probably take it. If not, we can go the extra 50 thousand if it's really a pretty good price.'

WOMAN: 'OK. I'll see you later! I love you so much!'

MAN: 'Bye! I love you, too.'

The man hangs up. The other men in the locker room are staring at him in astonishment, mouths agape..

The wonderful husband turns and asks:

"Anybody know who's phone this is?"

Morning everyone! Cloudy and 40 here right now. I got up and looked at the moon about 2 this morning and could see enough of it through the haze to see a partial eclipse. I think it was supposed to be totally eclipsed by 4 but I thought by what I was seeing that it would not be worth the wait to try to get a photo. Maybe next time!

Mornin ya'll, 31 here and no clouds. Hard to see eclispe through eyelids Did have a decent hunt with young dogs last night.

You probably could see the moon then. The moon didn't keep the coons in?

They don't move when the moon is out you know?

It was fairly clear just after dark I noticed.

It probably was about that time when I first looked at it. I could have gotten a shot then but didn't.

I try to get a good one of every full moon if I can. Sometimes the weather or something else will interfere with it. Seems to me they are the prettiest when they first rise or just before they set.

I would have loved to get a shot of the full eclipse. I saw some pictures somewhere and they said it took on a red tint. It was red in the pictures.

I don't know what kind of camera you have or the settings you have but I get the best ones when I use a tripod and a remote switch to help with the camera shake. On these Canons we have, I set it to Manual, F at 11, 1/250 sec shutter speed and zoom it in as tight as I can.

I'll try to shoot it this afternoon if it's fair enough, to have one for the files. .

MINE IS AIPTEK CAMCORDER I USED ALL AUTO SETTINGS EXCEPT ZOOM DID HAVE IT ON TRIPOD BUT DIDNT USE REMOTE
