Once again the rumor mill is flying negativity about my dogs I recently heard that the reason you shouldn't breed to Jesse Lee is becauase he is throwing all chop mouth pups?? Well lets see there has been several diffrent females bred to him now and I am sure there will be all kinds show up before its over but I can assure you its not the norm!!! I am sure that before its over there will be good ones bad ones and everything in between come from him but one thing for sure if he never breeds another female he don't owe me crap and has nothing to prove to me in the woods on a score card or in the breeding pen!!!!!!! I do not breed dogs for a living it's just a hobby I only hunt for myself and do not care what people think of me or my dogs although I am more then willing to work with anyone that thinks we have somthing to offer there nice female you will never see me get on here and beg anyone to breed to anything nor will you see me begging people to buy pups I do appreciate everyone that has given Jesse Lee or any other dog I have ever had a chance and I really appreciate the people hunting the pups out of him thats hard work..Here's how it works at Big River English Kennels I breed and hunt for myself I don't hardly ever advertise or try to push anyone into anything I figure if anyone is intrested in whats going on here they will find me and if they don't thats ok too all the males are here for anybody to come hunt with none are retired and there will be several young dogs to hunt with as well!! I figure the best advertisment you can have is when you open a book month in and month out and there is something in the winners circle!!!! I am not trying to impress anyone I just like to hunt all hunts are hunted just to see if we can measure up and I only compete for self satisfaction!!! Jesse Lee is not the cure all for the English Breed but he deffinatly does have something to offer if given the chance and I am totally aware of the fact that not all pups from him will make it but I promise you this some will and already have!! Rory they only chop when they are flying ,these dogs have all different mouths depending on female j throws a better mouth than he has take em hunting with bull don't let the bull get to ya j-lee can speak for himself j-lee has held his own in any company and carrys his tracks with him might not have time to bawl alot these dogs make things happen in short order track speed to burn chop mouth dogs about a hundred bark per min when treed sorry just could not let em pick on j-lee

No prob Tom but man this crap gets old I get so sick of this and that don't know why I even bother get so sick of hearing he ain't that good my dog treed a coon on him so freaking what why don't they tell the real story and tell that he prolly treed twenty on them?? Oh and I drew him and beat him again oh freaking well he's won more then enough already to suit me if he never wins again sure he will loose again but I will bet the farm he will win more then he loose's any where he is sat down!!! Against anyone!!! And he has already put together a good enough resume in the breeding pen and hunts to suit ME!!! Nuff said!!! All I got to say if you don't like what you see go somehere else there is plenty of other studs to choose from!! Bla Bla Bla

Rory that's right a bunch of BS because Coonvalley Skeeter has a big scream on track with a big locate bud.I would use J-lee on any of my females any day bud and I don't care what people said about u or your hounds u have always been straight with me.Like u said about the hounds they have spoke for there selfs.I love mine out of J-lee was a supper national so I am with u all the way.Keep up the good work.If can ever help u with anything Rory I will do my best.

I would'nt get too worked up over any of that mess. Anyone with half a brain can look back over the years up to the present and see in black and white the type of hounds you have on the end of your lead. No matter who the breeder or the bloodlines. All crosses don't work that's just the facts but there is no doubt that the percentage of good ones has been and will continue to be high from the Big River Kennels. As far as chop mouth or bawl mouth dogs everyone has their own preference but the bottom line in the end is do they end the track under a coon. Perfect dogs will never be achieved by anyones breeding but we all continue to strive for as close as possible. To do this we have to take chances and my friend i will take a chance on a Big River Hound any day of the week.

Rory j-lee throw coondog and as far as chop mouth dogs all the way that's hard to believe j-lee X wild dog had 9 puppies one died 7 is running and treeing their own coons or with old dogs and every one that has kept me up dated said they run track with a big ball or squeal ball with a locate that will make ur hair stand up on the back of your head and the hardest tree dog they've ever seen for as young as they are.. so who ever said that doesn't know much about what he is throwing or just trying to start some BS I BLEAVE
IN YOUR LINE OF HOUNDS AND IT MEANS A LOT TO ME FOR WHAT YOU AND YOUR LINE OF DOGS HAS DONE FOR THE ENGLISH BREED AND MOST OF ALL LOOK HOW LONG YOU HAVE KEPT THIS LINE AND WON ALL OVER THE WORLD WITH THEM....

Well I cant speak for most of J Lees pups because I only have one but he is a bawl mouth track dog with a solid locate and hard chop mouth tree. He is young and keeps getting better and better and I will own another pup out J Lee.

You said it all with your post,If they don't want to breed to your dogs, they should keep you and your dogs out of their mouth and if someone here's anybody downing another mans dog they should see what kind of person he or she is!!
