Well its mistin' rain here. Don't know if I'm into gettin' wet and chilly. Keepin' dry sounds good, but it don't help the young dogs any. Think I'll set a live trap and see what happens.
FOGGGGGGGY
Just got in from settin' my live trap, glad I didn't go huntin', can't hardly see 30 yrds.--less in some places.
1:15 accurate report.treed 3 tonight.didn't start till 8:15 when the fog cleared some.got sprinkled on a couple times..coons moved, seen 4 sitting up besides the 3 I treed and two cross the road..nighty nite all ,work tomorrow....

Good Morning Men and Linda
Sounds like a pretty decent night Rex. I went down to Olney last night to a wrestling match, Charleston did ok lost by 2 matches both teams had a lot of Rookie Freshman.. Made for some pretty good matches, it was rainy and foggy the whole way down. Just took my time, My Boy Jack is still riding the pine with a shoulder injury and he may be for a good while as it is not healing real well. Might have to mix him up some emergency dog muscle healing stuff. I'm afraid he got a separated shoulder instead of a sprain as trainer thinks.
Being a old coach and seen lots of injuries don't like the way its healing. Vacation coming up Dec23 - Jan 2 boy needs to be right to lead that Bluetick and carry coon..LOL
Tony, I am not sure I would call that Goat Obama as he might hit you rear end you when you are not looking. Wait isn't that what Obama is doing to us all...LOL
Mike Bill Chuck have a good day.
J Hoffa
Trap was empty this mornin'. They didn't run in the old barn. Reset in another spot, seen 3 deer this mornin' and an owl. 2 bucks,1 doe. 1 buck was a crap head. Bob Hudson is in Veterans hospital in Indianapolis, chest pain may have some blockage?
Good Morning !!
Had a bad night,,couldnt breathe to well ,,had to set up half the night,,couldn't lay down ,,,,
Feelin' better Chuck? Accurate squirrel hunt report: Nothing, had a nice walk, took pup PeeWee she smells a lot and is gettin' out a little more. Whats goin' on Mike?
Nothing down here TD. Cloudy and 45 degrees. Just got back from having lunch with my wife. Sure is busy downtown. Looks like a big city with the traffic. What is going up there? You say you didn't see any squirrels out today?

Not one of them little tree rats. Went to town with the boss and got a refill on food, seen one town gray squirrel.
I haven't seen one around here. I don't know what they are doing. Deer are plentiful in the pasture and haven't seen any Turkeys.

Seen a big time flock of turkeys 2 weeks ago in southern In. 4 jakes strutin' tryin' too get the girls
Headin' for the woods report to come later.........good or not so good. Bob is still in hospital no heart problem, doc is keepin' him to be on the safe side.
Rex talked to Daryl today Dorothy is doing better has to be in ICU another day then regular room. Bob is supposed to get to come home tomorrow after they do a chemical stress test as long as they don't find anything wrong. Chuck how you feelin? TD and Jeff A. are getting ready to take off to hunt. Mike have you had any more problems with your blood sugar? Linda
It dropped on me twice yesterday. Last night about 8:30PM sitting on the couch and all of sudden I felt funny. My wife jumped up and got my meter and it was down to 51. I don't know what is going on with it. It has me scared enough now not to go anywhere. So far it has been running in the 120-140 today. I sure don't understand it. Need to get out and start hunting but I can't take the mud around here in the bottoms. I will have to wait for it to dry up or freeze. Which ever come first.

From 6:30-8:15... 3 dens 1 slick 0 coons made 2 dumps the last one had a cornfield on 2 sides. Talked to another hunter who didn't do a whole lot better. Took Gem,pup Dolly, and Jeff's dog Moo on first drop, Gem & Moo on second drop. Them #%&@$^* coons.
6:45 to 9:05 swore and be ****ed i wasn't going tonight ...but did....treed a den,, then most likely the smallest coon of the year 5 ,,,6 pounds at the most..then a blank and came home..mike ,chuck hope you guys feel better..bill will surely do better than i did tonight..Jeff i used to be as tuff as them boys of yours LOL. but not anymore..dont let them get tore up to bad...cuts into the hunting.LOL..TD, Linda I talked to uncle Daryl [thats what my skinny kid calls him]this morning ,sounded like Dorthy was doing a lot better..think she is going to do her therapy at odd fellows..Lacie wants her to do it in the afternoons so she can take care of her..you all have a good nights rest...

You guys have a geat post going. Are any of ya'll coming to the Grand American? I hunted in shirtsleeves last night. Stayed busy but I was embareassed myself with my female treeing on a empty palmetto tree obvious. Then two iffy live oaks, I broke a palmetto frond over her though cause they should have been looking. Then a downrite hollow that would not suck the smoke. But i had 2 of mine I took almost out of hearing to cast from the marsh runners i left and they did not get on a coon and came back in about 45 minuites and made me Happy. If you come to the Grand , give me a call, we can pleasure hunt. Ya'll sound like fun. Also I need to hear some good dogs run>
hi lyle, and rest of you fine folks...off to build some walls today..don't the rest of you work to hard...

Morning guys. Sorry about your bad hunts. I thought last night they would have been running good. Maybe they are waiting for this rain to move in.
