I AGREE WITH CORKY, IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN THE HALF BLACK & TAN THAT MADE OL HOMER SO GOOD. OL HOMER WAS A GOOD LOOKIN HIGH TAN HOUND [I ALSO HEARD HE HAD SOME LEOPARD CUR IN HIM, THATS ALRIGHT TOO]. Morning all! I'm showing 18.4 right now. Wind seems to be down. I'll know more when I venture out to let the hounds out. Usually the temp will drop another degree or two just before the sun gets up.

17 this mornin at daybreak, not a leaf stirring. Had to go help on the wrecker last night just after dark. I did not have on enough clothes for that wind that was still blowing then.

I rode back out there a little while ago to check the pivots ( Wire was stolen off 3 or 4 down the road from the house this weekend). Pulled up to the pond and it had ice around the edges going out 5 or 6 foot. And of course the batteries were dead in my camera.

thanks for the yote picture, had a guy tell me that he had a game cam on a den and in 90 days they had brought in several deer

looks like that one has eaten his feel of something, in real shape
old Bonds red dog would give it a run for his money for sure

man the wind is a site up here in Fredericksburg today, still warmer here then back home in Christiansburg, wife had 11 this morning

homer didnt have any cur in him but grab sure did

had someone back out on getting a hound that I have been holding for her for 8 WEEKS! Trying to get him moved....

Always tomorrow to yak. I'm fixing to go home and fill dog boxes with straw and get them in for the night! They say this will be the last one in the teens for awhile.....

Cooler here now...

... about 20. Dylan just took Webster out for the last time tonight and came in and complained... SIGH... should be a finger killer tomorrow... I HATE WINTER!

OK.. so I had that pic of the yote and a pic of me standing in the same place... printed both out, lined up the rocks and the branches and...LOL... took some pix of them taped together! Bob and I LOVE it... looks like I'm out for a stroll with my pet yote.... He is a Fluffy healthy fellow...

Here are some Fun Pix of the pix...

The last picture shows a bit better where it is pieced together... It was really easy since the cam is pretty steady.It is a Den cam...but it is a skunk den. The den is right behind my legs, tiny little hole. Happens to be right at a cut thru....

In here avoiding the chill. It is 16 on the thermometer at the house...but windchills are at 0 said the news... RAN out, fed the feral cats, got poor Web from the pen where he'd been for a few minutes... RAN with him to the marshmellow tree where he ate 2 marsh. the critters left... RAN onto the neighbors... made it a few feet... he pooped(I did NOT lol), turned tail and RAN back to the house... I have to admit I'm coming down with some sort of cold and it's making me achy so being inside is JUST fine for now...I WILL have to go feed the birds once it "warms up"... I HATE WINTER! lol...

Corky, Thanks but the only talent was... cutting out the yote pic, lining it up with the other pictures rocks... and taping it! lol.. then taking a couple pix with the real cam. GLAD to hear your new cam is in! WOooHoooo! and.. YUCK on your weather!

Has ANYONE heard me say I HATE winter? lol...

OH... the boiler guys came yesterday! Took almost 500$ but it is all clean and working AND the guys were SO NICE! Both play in bands, one actually makes $$playing and they hit it off with Bob right away... I heard the drums being bashed for a moment down there...LOL... The drum guy may come jam with Bob and his friend some band night! COOL! and WARM! and EXPENSIVE! BUT... these guys KNOW our kind of burner and boiler...FINALLY!

STAY WARM and SAFE and DRY everyone!
