HEATWAVE HERE!

Heys Guys and Gals!
UMMMmmm... it was FIFTY when I went out to feed! Granted it was raining.... we got a few inches over night and the WINDS... 50 mph... since it was so bad out I never changed the chip in the good cam and I am BOILING mad at self.... second time this past weekend I messed up.. first X I missed a coonfest...they had the marshmellow tree a mess! AND... this time I missed the coyotes...GO FIGURE! One of the moultrie cams got a GOOD shot of a yote... Just made me MADDER at self... I was just too lazy to go out in the rain and dark and wind last night...Grrr..... LOL...
CAN'T believe you all got the cold again... It will soon be cold here and soon we WILL have snow... if this storm had been snow we'd have been paralyzed.....

Brady and the Pats... really was kinda impressed how well they did in that mess of Chicago weather!

Now I'll have to go read that article! And see wassup on here and get a nap in and post a pic. of the yote cause it was the best we've had yet I think.....

Heather I looked you up earlier and noticed that your weather was better than ours for now but not for long. Well we are way up to 32.9 now but that wind is whipping! I don't believe we will see the 37 they are predicting this afternoon.. . Gonna be 19 in the morning!!! BRRRRR!!!!

Had to go bust water buckets at lunch....again. I busted them this AM but the wind is so cold it froze them again.

I bought some rubber ones a few minutes ago to see if that helps any. Everyone seems to be OK tho. All chipper and eating good. I worry about them too much. Some of my friends are keeping their's crated inside at night then turning them back out in the AM.....I think that is worse on them then just giving them plenty of good warm staw and extra feed. They would be coming out of a 68 + house to 25 deg drop.....

Tell me you thoughts.....

Reb not sure how ole grab was breed she was 11 1/2 but ole Homer was a good the half walker was what made him so good his momma was a black and tan

I agree, we have a 8 year old lab-chow mix for a pet. She is big ( 90# ). When it is cold out, my wife will let her in late at night. She will go to the front of the house where it is cooler. After awhile if you get up she will come back to the back and go to the door wanting out.

had to go to Fredericksburg Va for work the wind coming off of the Potomac added with the 22 degrees weather is darn cold

Dont you guys get to talking about the Franklin county medicine to much Bond might be asking me for some more of that liquid Apple Pie he likes so well

where's the yote picture's I keep hearing about?

Bond will only get switches and a lump of coal for Christmas

Dogs are better off staying OUT if they are hunting dawgs! Or Outdoor dawgs! Dealt with this all the time with the horses... Our Housedog wimps have a tough time outside since they are not prepared for being out...
Cleo, with OLDE DAWGS in the NORTH I know some people DO bring them in for winter... but down your way you shouldn't have to. Feed and water well, bed em well and keep a close eye on them... They should do fine. You'll KNOW if one NEEDS to get inside in and emerg.

NOW... if you have a coat like THIS dawg... you can live out and den underground...

dlinkous Here ya go! LOL... Bob LOVES that liquid apple pie and we have friends with a BIG orchard ironically, WIfe is a bartender... she loves to serve Bob his apple pie! lol...
