Had a good visit with Mr. Paul Pascal and his wife Becky from Conroe, Texas. They came and stayed a week to pick up a pup and get a little hunting in. Hot, muggy nights with a full moon aren't the best nights to be out, but we looked at coon when the dogs treed and most of all, we had fun doing it.
I've made a lot of friends through these bluetick hounds over the past 20+ years. Some of the best friends to me and my family are my hunting buddies.
Good luck with your pup Paul! I hope you enjoyed your stay as much as we did! You and your family are always welcome!

Pepper and Jack our first night out before we had a flat tire in the middle of a 2000 acre farm with no spare!

Pepper got this coon up behind Jack on our next hunt. Had to quit early that night too because Jack started having a heat stroke. Carried my Abby Lou female along. She did some good work also.

Yeah thanks Steve we had a great time you have a wonderful family. I have also made alot of good friends because of these hounds! Would like to have hunted a little more but that's summer humting. Lol. The hounds worked as i thought they would. I haven't had a hound in 20 years and you still can't go wrong with that bloodline. Very fine hounds Steve and I'm sure my pup will be good one. Thanks again bud.

Sound of "blue hounds" treed off to the south towards Viola way. One was a loud bawl mouth hound that sounded split treed from the other 2. I figured, probably you out and about with Jack and company.

Well we made a little racket the other night on the AR-MO state line. Had a decent hunt but I sure did miss hearing ol Pepper!
Other than that, I've been working my long week at work. Got a family vacation to save up for.
