Thanks guys for the congrats.

I'm excited about the cross it should produce some good ones. I got a call from Keith Bowling on Saturday and said his pup from from the Toadie cross ran and treed 2 coons the other night. One with Rip and treed the other by himself. It's good to hear about these pups. Can't wait to see what the future brings.

I'm 4hrs 16min to Upper Sandusky. I think will stay around the house and hunt. My buddy had his old dog killed up there last year by a car, and was told that someone else had another killed the year before. So I'm thinkin of not going. Been told that some of the woods are in mile sections with paved straight roads all around. So I'm a little scared .

I did pick up another $54.00 tonight. I was hoping for more dogs to show up after driving an hour and a half to get there, but I guess they heard I was coming . There was only 6 entry's. Oh well a wins a win.

Jared, they were all over in Upper Sandusky. I saw where they hunted 104 dogs and it took 750+ to get in the final four. But a cast win paid $77.

Jared, I was so sorry to hear about Boone. Give him a pat for me and tell him that I said to get well soon. Are you going to let him rest up or are you going to keep on hunting him? How far are you from Sesser, Il? I hear that they are having a pretty big hunt there in a couple of weeks.

Well he rested Sunday and Monday. That's seems to be enough, took the other dogs last night. He's on his medication, so I suppose it's time to take him out. He not used to resting and neither am I. I've always believed the best way to get better is to keep moving on . So were going tonight if the weather holds up.

Thanks for congrats. Boone is getting better every day. This infection has took a toll on him. I guess this erhricosis is becoming more of a common thing around here. I have heard of 2 more dogs with it in this area in the past week. I have never heard of it until last week, and now it's popping up more and more here in Indiana. I guess it's something we are gonna have to deal with. We are use to Lyme and know systems for it but I guess we will have to watch out for this one as well.

I have been watching his time in the woods but he looked good on Friday and Saturday. We were able to pick up $79.50 on the hunt on Saturday. I was going to hunt the late round but decided to go home and let him rest .

Went to another $KC hunt last night. Boone is getting better every day. He looked good, taking a 2nd strike and 1st tree on the first coon giving him the lead. So then we recut, then his amatuer handler screwed up and struck the wrong dog and I minused myself for -50. Boone then went to tree another coon by himself 650 yards away with 6 minutes to go in the hunt, but it was already to late the walker dogs treed a coon just before that. I was to far back for the tree to matter, because of my screw up. Oh well I guess it takes 2 to win . It just makes it harder when its your mistake and not the dogs .

It is a lot worse for me when my dog screws up. I can get real mad and whoop him but I just laugh when I screw up.

Boone has two litters due by two NTCH females in less than two weeks. Can't wait to see what we got.

You guys looking for a well bred pup, here is your chance to get one....not only is the dog exceptional, the guy who owns him is a nice, courteous, respectful young man.

I do not personally like a big dog and rule some males out just because of that reason. I think the photos of him on this thread make him look a lot bigger/larger than he actually is. When I saw the dog and met the man down in Mississippi at The Winter Classic in January, I was very pleased with both of them.

While unproven in the stud pen, for now, he is loaded on the top and bottom with reproducing Redbones and has proven he can travel and win all over the country against some darn good animals.

I would encourage you to not overlook him when your female comes in heat or you are looking for a well bred pup.

Thank you Mark the kind words. I would love to get together sometime for a hunt.

Boone has his second litter on the ground out of NTCH Gate. Just went and checked them out. She had 6 Females and 2 males. We think she is done. They are all dark healthy looking pups.

There are 3 Females and 1 Male booked out of the litter so far.
