Uchtman Deephollow Hemi

Here is why I need a new pair of boots for Christmas, she is ready!

Posted by Scopus Blue on 12-17-2011 08:59 PM:

I think I have a litter mate to your pup Uchtmans blue ringo out of Zeb and Sue, he split treed last Friday night with a coon, I was tickled pink.

DOG GUN-IT MO BLUE ALICE

This is a Zeb female I picked up from John Rosson at the Fall Round Up. Born 7/23/11. I called Gary looking for a started female and he told me I needed one of these pups. He said "it's the best money you will ever spend." Well, after 30 hours of driving to get her she sure acts good and time will tell.

I especially like her head !

Posted by collarguy on 12-19-2011 01:55 PM:

Thanks. She is built like a male. I have a linebred male out of Albert Again and a Capt'n Hook female(Luke and Lou on the bottom) the same age and she is thicker and more athletic than him at this point......and smarter acting. I'm looking forward to seeing them mature. I'll get a picture of the male on here.

This photo is of her last week at just one year of age. The coon on the tail gate of the truck Herbie struck and treed in front of the 9 yr old Dancer X Smokey River (right from Ron's Kennel) pup trainer. Not as if this wasnt impressive enough, she held the tree while the old dog was running track 50 yards from her on a second coon. Unfortunately she just came into heat, and deer season is just a week away, so she will be laid up for a few weeks. She's the kind of dog that makes you want to put your boots on and go.

hey Hans did you name that dog after me. If you did she's bound to be trashy. She sure made a good looking female. You coming to the spring hunt this time around.

Females

Sure are some nice females on this thread. I hope they can keep those of us that like to hunt this line of dogs with hounds to hunt for years to come.

Merry Christmas to All and a Happy New Year.

Hey Herbie,

Those natually strait folks are missin out. My parents got me a hound when I was 12 to keep me out of trouble, so far it's worked.

My sister had a good beagle that she called Herbie and the name just seemed to fit this blue female. Beleive me, I did think of you when I named her. You had commented at the Spring Hunt you liked the looks of her. I would not have named her this if she was black red and white.

Herbie took another track from my GRNT the other night and treed first. I think it's time to start hunting her by herself. She is kinda independant so I need to keep her in the mix so she doesnt totally isolate herself. She is quick to put a tree on it and she's been accurate. She could use some solo work on old tracks, but she's young and got the nose

I am planning on going to the Spring Hunt.

Give me a call sometime, it's always good to chat.

Hans
