Ed Mead has a new Nt Ch off of Gr Nt Ch Mead's Blue Jet 6 Again X Gr Nt Ch Tucker" Hilltop Joanie--Nt Ch Mead's Blue Rejet. The dog has won 2 -1st and a 2nd. He also has a best of show w/comp. Should be a Dual Ch soon-Yea!

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!! Blues, is down for 21 days...In heat...Can't breed her, like I want to, because of the winter classic hunt, but maybe this spring. Her heat cycles are crazy. I really thought I missed her a couple months ago, swollen, but no bleeding. She's definitely in heat now,LOL!!

Snake Bit--Not!

Reject was the dog that got bitten by the Snake on Monday night. After the shots and swelling had gone down enough-I made the decision to hunt him Saturday night. He acted like he was ready to go and performed well enough to get the second place. A little welcome rain for this area and much needed. Should make for a good start to the opening of our Coon Hunting Season which begins Saturday the 15th. Good Huntin everyone and as always--hope you are enjoying yours as much as I am mine.

Eric-Got a picture of me with a Diamondback that I killed with the Tally Ho stick-try and see if I can get that on here--makes the four and a half footer look like a midget. Keith Swick-those are just some of the older magazines--I'm trying to find some things for some people and was going thru them --many more Full Crys and Cooners on shevles. Eddie Ross and I talked -he has since passed away--he told me he had every issue of Mountain Music that was published bound in hardback volumes by the year. Think he was still living in Ohio we he died--do not know who has that collection but that would really be something to see. wish I could have made it to Flora and then on up to Ed's in Mich --if not this year then hopefully the next! John-thats a real problem--all those young dogs--lots of people would like to be in your boat--sure you will sort thru and come up with some more good ones. James thought you was headed to Alabama last weekend? It's time for Hoppe's #9--make sure that 22 will do the job after these Blue dogs do theirs again and again and......!

hey CW hope all is well all i can say is WOW watta month jr gotta a 1st penny has had 6 outa 7 wins! and got a grand daughter in august and get my grandson today!!! not a religious man but im thankin the good lord for the life he is lettin me live!!! what would life be without blueticks and kids??? guess we should be thankful for all our ancesters have done for us!!! dont u think? and our elders too.penny finished to ACHA grnitech last night. gives her 8 wins in acha this year.what would u try breeding her to this winter?

CW, went over to the Colquit Co. club and helped them with their hunt. The dry weather killed the scores. Got a hunt in Albany this Sat. will probably be moh there also. We are getting a little rain down here so hunting should pick up for a few days. Had an inch in the gauge this morning, it took 2 days to get it and still drizzling off and on.

We aint had no rain all year. The ponds and sloughs have been dry since last fall. The only crops made were under irrigation. Now that it it harvest time this front moves in here and sits. We are not getting much water from it, came in here Sat. and I may have gotten an inch and a half by now. Suppose to move out today, gona try and hit the woods tonight.

savage is a 1st strike then 3 long bawl locates fast chop tree. ruger is alot like penny big, little timid semi silent treeing machineeven sounds like her then i have a gyp chop mouth not doing much yet is always at tree and will go 900 yrds w no company loves to run deep and strike!! time will tell? but i bet i have alotta fun next month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When 6 Again treed--he was going to get slobbered up. you were going to get it on your hands and every where else if you stood there for very long. As soon as we pulled him off the tree we got him water--I know people thought- this dog is not going to last drinking that much water after just one tree. Wrong!
