Looking forward to going hunting with Barry Green tonight, it's been too long buddy. Maybe we can get the fire lit under him again!

Brummy went 2 for 2 alone tonight and had to go big hunting both times. He treed a layup at 800 yards the first dump and went 900 yards to get struck on the second dump, he drifted an old bad track out and treed at 8/10's of a mile.

This will be our last hunt before we head north Wednesday, I have walked to 8 trees this week and looked at 7 coons. I feel like he's ready.

Thank you, I'm real happy with the type pups he's putting on the ground.

Thanks ya'll we had a real good time. Got beat by Iron Will 2 on Friday night, he's a real nice dog that gets hooked with a coon. Brummy didn't look bad, Will just did a better job and Jeff knows him inside and out.

The cards fell the right way Saturday night and we won the cast with 425+ and that was good enough for 5th place NtCh. All 4 dogs got split at least once during the cast. I was impressed with the Downing's Patch dog, he drew some minus right off the bat but then came back strong toward the end.

I did find out to the tune of 75- both nights that if he's in a hole when you get close he will shut up. Bad deal breaking them on holes down here and coons run in holes pretty regular up there. He would hammer down until we got close then he would shut up and mill. Cost me some points both nights but thats the way it is.

I was glad to see he didn't have any trouble treeing coons Wednesday night pleasure hunting after riding 14 hours. He treed coons in front of, behind and away from other dogs. In less than 2 hours hunting with my good friend Dave Oswald we made 7 trees and looked at 6 coons. I was ready to hunt all night but a nasty thunderstorm blew in and cut us way short.

All in all it was a real good weekend but I sure am glad to be back home with my wife and baby girl

Also I want to say thanks to my good buddy Curtis Todd for riding with me, we had a blast and I couldn't have asked for a better person to spend 2 solid days in a truck with.

Sure wish ya'll could hear Jerry Michael tell the story about walking up on Curt asleep in the chair Friday night LOL

I don't think the Kate female took. One female that is booked to be bred started bleeding Saturday so we will be getting her bred next week and Curtis Todd is breeding a daughter of All Terrain Boomer to him when she comes in. We will be trying again with Kate on her next heat cycle. I'm not sure how the bitch that we're breeding next week is bred, the guy is supposed to be emailing me a copy of her papers.

Clyde just wondering how the little breeze female made the long trip home? I am the one who owns her mother and raised the litter hope she keeps him smiling, she is a going little concern as are the rest of the litter.
Wish I would have went over and looked at ol Brummy sure like his pictures and his pedigree.
