I sure hope all goes well and that I am able to get these pups into some guys hands that will hunt them hard so we can see old Twister move up the reproducers list some more. It wouldn't take too many NtCh to move him up there. The problem at this point is him being so old that likely even if he does hit it in numbers he may not ever get in the magazine as such becuase of the semen pups that may be on the way later. Like Fireball who produced the most ever but is now not on the list becuase he is so old.

If people start using Twister semen he will be back in the magazine. The only reason Fireball was there was because of sheer numbers! His reproduction % is terrible! Twister on the other hand has proven to be worthy of being on the list! I'm not trying to make anyone mad but facts are facts, & odds are that if any dog produces enough pups, like over 900+ you could probably reach 2% repro. % JMO

One thing I know for sure these pups will be like they are out of the old Fireball dog and closer than a son to Twister, which by your own admission IS an excellent reproducer. As you know Fireball was bred to everything under the sun in the way of Redbones and others too. This just proves what a reproducer he was with all he was bred to and the way UKC adds the historical list up, is up to them. All I can do is tell you according to them Fireball is the #1, at 26 GrNt/NtCh and that's a fact.

Steve,

I have no reason to be jealous. I listen to everyone talk about being on the reproducers list! Judging by that standard he is far behind some of the dogs now at stud. Every dog can say that alot of dogs out of them were never put in the hunts. By the way, I spent many a night in the woods with Clint, long before Sam Brown sold him. If you are happy, I am happy. Can't figure out what there is to be jealous of? If I wanted to hunt a dog out of that line, I would! That still wouldn't change the numbers! I can't understand why people want to say that they have got this special line like it is a special club. If I saw a dog I liked well enough & it was directly out of so-called Fireball blood, & I could afford it, I would buy it! I personally don't care which so-called strain wins the world hunt! I just want someone too! FACT!!!!
I will truly be happy if you win! or anyone else for that matter!
P.S. Eddie, I hope you get feeling better soon! I don't like hearing you talk about dying on your posts! I still pray for you!

Im fighting for my life.One thing for sure is I can go to a better place & Im trying to prove the Doctors wrong thats for sure,Im fighting with everything I have at this point everyday.

But its a real wake up call to have the Doc give u a time left to spend on this earth but only God knows for sure when that will be Doctors sometimes do get it rite.

And yes we need the prays thats for sure I made things rite with God Along time ago the only thing that worrys me is leaving my family behind & my Grandbabys how could u not worry about them.

Well, just got Daisy back.

I've been gone since 6 this morning to get her. She looks good and should be in good shape. In a month she is scheduled up for a sonogram so we should know something then about her taking for sure and get some idea as to the size of the litter.

Steve, not bragging but her two brothers that are older sure did look good lastnight,that Red Fred pup trees so hard he hurts your ears.

(((IM LOVING IT))) Im sure yours will do the same with a little age on her. I left out of here & left my Flip Video so I couldnt tape anything.

Lost my cell phone I had a heck of a night but hearing him dogs work them tracks out & tree & have them made it worth while.

What's funny he was wondering where Fred was the night we went for me to see Lightin go. Guess we should have carried lil Fred too. I told my wife about how smart he was. It's crazy for a kid that young to be that with it. I could see him destroying some folks at the youth hunts with the dog power and brains he has. That's the thing with this competition stuff you have to have the brains and dog training/handling capabilities both, to do really well. That's a hard combination to find.

Daisy is doing fine.

She is starting to get back to her usual self now that she has had a little time to heal from the surgical A.I. Hopefully, things stay going well and here in a few more weeks I'll have a report on some popsicle puppies. I can't wait to see what these may look like and how they will do in the woods. With all this old blood in them they may look like something from the 40's to 60's but still have more competition power than most hounds out there now.

Steve, how many little kids u see get up at 11:00 to get there hunting gear on ? remember Braxton had went to sleep in my chair hes always ready I hope hes stay this way.

Thanks for your comment on how smart he is.You got it rite hes on top of everything dont know how he does it sometimes he just floors us with what he knows I just wonder where he finds all this stuff out.His sister is the same way just cant get her to go coonhunting yet.

Youth hunts are in our plans for him hope Fred keep coming on for him & I think he will.

Had another long run last night

Took Jackie out turned her loose. My old Dan hound that's out of everything but Fireball got struck in first and went to the right. Then Jackie and the double Kate, that has some Fireball blood, pup I got from Danny Biggert, for my buddy, got struck in to the left. They all ended up getting pretty deep. With the moon out like it is, stuff was running hard. We sure covered some ground. My buddy, Brady, was surprised at how thin the coons were over here compared to what he had around him. Brady is right in the middle of several river bottoms with coons everywhere in places.

I'll call soon as I get thru teaching today. It might be pretty soon. My wife hit a deer last night and totaled her car. We went to pull it home with a chain. Well I didn't think about not having power steering and braking. So by the time I got to the house I was hurting bad in my neck since I just had neck surgery. Now I am trying to teach at school with stuff all in me to reduce the pain. I am trying to get a sub to come in so it could be fairly soon or at around 4.

Unfortunately, that is a slowly dissappearing trait. The Redbone world is so small that most people realize how important being straight up and honest with people is, if you want to help out each other, in bettering the breed. That's what I have always strived to do but some people I guess can't appeciate that and they will get what's theres' in the end from people not helping them out.
