It came from northern wis.It is quite a conversation piece.my grandsons love shooting it over and over.its a big one thats for sure.pups are growing and getting quite LOUD.

hello it looks like the pups are growing good. should make some nice hounds. i had annie and rocky out this morning. they worked a cold track for quite a ways before i picked them up. looks like annie is going to be cold nosed. she seems to be able to move a track with good speed. i'm going to take her and rocky a few more times by themselves and then start skipper. it was 23 degrees we still have some old hard snow in the woods. the dnr caught a bear this morning that has been living under my neighbors deck in thier live trap. it seems like we have more bear by the houses than in the forest sometimes. have a happy easter dennis

I`m glad annie is working out for you.I just got back from North Carolina,I had a great time 72 degrees two days in a row.Glad to meet everybody.thanks for all the compliments from everybody on Stinger and his young young ones.never did i think he was getting so popular.I sure met alot of good guys at the hunt.keep in touch and give me a call sometime.Wayne said his trip was topped off by seeing Kelly Whitt ,Wayne used to hunt with his dad DR. Whitt and Kelly Bragg.I wish I would have took something to write everybody name and number down,.I had a great time again and the pleasure of meeting you guys was all mine thanks again.If anybody talks to Evert Dalton or Rufus ask them if I can saw some logs.that bed sure felt good thursday night after the drive and hunting in the rqe.I snored so loud they went home.I felt bad but when you share a bed with Wayne you sleep on your back.LOL.and thats when I snore.HAPPY EASTER EVERYBODY.

hi matt sounds like you had a good trip. i hunted yesterday morning with my friend mike. he has a male from katie and toby. his dog treed one layup. rocky and annie treed another. we have had some nice weather the last couple of days, it's finally getting in the 50's. happy easter dennis

Bryan are you getting to hunt any?I have a little more time to work powder and belle now that jim is up north.sounds like he is working out good for Dave and accepted the change real well. I have only three pups not spoken for out of Lou and Stinger.I have one male turning 6 mo.to deliver to ill.and one female is going to ky out of Dons litter.are you going to bluetick days?

Blue is a special hound and in a class of his own.very few people get to own one like him.he just loves to tree coon.he has bad nights like the rest but very few.I have had good luck with my smokey river ellis blue jim hounds.I`m sure the best are still to come.thanks again.

hello bryan i had a real nice visit with duane hope to talk to him before too long. i have a friend that lives not far from duane, named gene bray, a preacher. he's been up here bear hunting with me. gene is in his 70's, still goes through the woods pretty good. i've had annie and my rocky pup out several times. it's been cold and frosty but they are both doing well. would speed things up if we had the amount of game you and matt have. but they will make it. i'm scheduled to be off work next week i hope to hunt them most every day. i am also planning to start skipper the pup out of stinger and fly. molly is still a little young. besides that 3 pups is more than enough. i'll keep you posted on how it goes. have a good one dennis

coon were moving good.I took belle and tree daddy and tree three on the outside.super fly and powder had two on the outside.coon every drop.the last track super fly and powder trailed a good ways and treed a big coon.thats the forth time I treed one in that area all were big coon.probably the same one.pups are doing good and are growing fast.

I rally haven`t hunted her enough she is with the other dogs or dog when they tree and she will tree some nothing over powering yet.I like her I took her to the vet two weeks ago she had lost her mouth when I went to ashland and she gave me some antibotics and some inflamtory med. but still not helping much I`m gonna have to take her back again.I laid her up till last night.she should have been curred she doesnt bark here at the house .I heard today the guys at work found some black and grey mushrooms .I gotta get up early again in the morning so I can`t run them tonight.it looks like a beautiful night to.

If the dogs would only know not to bark in the kennel!!!
They can ruin there mouth I know that.
Duane and I went lastnite. Treed 2 times. One doze pile one up a tree. That took close to 1 mile to do that. Nice night though.

Blue got in the finals of the open hunt at the PKC state ch at Liberty Center. Tom had to judge the Finals that night for the State hunt!
