I found Spectricide Tree & Shrub in a black bottle. Has only the active ingredient, no fertilizers or green dye, etc. Same as the old original Bayer. And only cost $13.00 at Walmart.

I've used it twice now and works great.

There are several brands that don't have the fertilizer in it.. if the active ingredient is 1.47% then it will take about 13 cc's or mils for a 40-60 pound dog...if the strength is half that then you will need double.. works great...

Go to any fertilize store and buy generic admire. May be called Alias,Montana, etc. It has no colors or fertilize in it. Cost ballpark of $50 gal. Less use rate because higher content if Imidicloprid. One gal will last you a long time.

Be careful about using it around the house on vegetation if you have a bee colony as Imidicloprid will get your hive.
