Terry you must be use to English hounds, Riptide trees like this on all trees if there is not alligators or crocodiles treeing with him. But he is getting better about that too! That English male pup could learn a lot from this Blue dog! LOL!

Roy hope you and Timmy are getting them young dogs a rollin! We have been hunting 3 to 5 nights a week and treeing a few sick ones. Hanna's SS papers in the mail so we hope we get her ready. Would love to hunt the young guns next year right here in our back yard. Hope after this month we can get some good pictures of Hanna doing something worth really talking about. They all should be getting it done at 6 to 7 months old right? LOL! Any pictures of Hanna's little male littermates?

Butch Glass from Kentucky deserves a big Congrats. He finished his Blue bitch to Dual Grand tonight. Had a good hunt and I think she had 550 plus on three coons. Butch guided and put us in coons!

Well Corey and myself took Riptide and Smoke tonight and made short order in two woods. First drop about 450 yards and struck and ran right at us and treed about 150 from us and had him. Second drop they got in about 300 yards and struck and ran and treed a den at about 475 yards. Dogs did a nice job and we called it a night. Hope the high heat stays away!

Roy /Timmy here is a couple updated bad pictures of Hanna. She is well on her way and is just turning 6 months old. She is starting to run and tree on her own and will now be going with Riptide or Smoke every once in a while. Hope to have some pictures in the woods and on the Wood this week of her is all goes well. She has a clear chop mouth that you can hear a long ways!! Oh threw in one picture of Riptide as he too wanted some attention today!

Roy here is a short video of Hanna on her first kittens. Her first dump tonight with Riptide she kind of got it handed to her as when Riptide hit the big creek she hesitated for a bit and she got left out for a while and the old man had it! Second dump it was crazy, treed three kittens up the bush she was on and seen six kittens and two old ones in three bushes that were all running together, corn fields and wild cherries are being hit hard now! Hanna was giving a little extra mouth tonight but she was wired 440 as the first dump in the corn field we dump right out on it and off to the races. Not bad for not being (6) months old yet!

Jerry here is a poor picture of Tide and Pockets treed together tonight, had two kittens up a bush along a corn field. First dump road to road and nothing so we picked them up and they still went about 800 yards to tree these kittens. Coons were not moving very good where we went. Did get another picture of the kittens.

It is always a pleasure to hunt the Blue dogs. They mind, junk free and tree real live coons. I thought I would say this since some wonder why we do like them! Riptide is one nice pleasure hound!LOL!

Roy the first dump tonight with Hanna, she went about 75 yards real quick into a corn field and struck and ran the snot out of it and took it to the woods / jungle and had trouble. Turned the old bitch into her and she got it treed and seen it but let me tell you it was rough! Second dump was with Pockets and they slammed one about 200 yards from the truck, ran good and treed good at times. Third dump they got in there about 650 yards and treed in an old hollow tree, Hanna ran real good and did better on the tree. Pictures will come when she deserves them! She still has not came back one time from drop to tree, she has heart to spare and can really move a track for a 6 month old pup. I see the switch coming on real soon!

Nope Terry one thing everyone and I mean everyone will tell you I do not and will not hunt a junk runner. Hounds that do that are a dime a dozen. I take pride in having good broke hounds, that is why we hunt by our self the biggest part of the time, hunt long enough with junk runners you will have junk runners as well. Junk runners here have two choices and the one I'm sure they don't like! LOL!

Took Riptide and Pockets tonight . 1st dump went about 600 yards and treed one in a cherry tree. 2nd dump hit one ran hot in a corn field and had a good chase and treed it about 500 yards from us with eyes looking down in both trees. Not bad for a short hunt.

I would say Riptide did 90% or better of his winning by getting off and having a coons by himself. He will pack but he sure will get off and get hooked by himself as well. Don't want and won't have a 100% loaner like some like, not my cup of tea. The Holstein, hell who knows, we always call them a project but she too has done her share of winning! If a hound is not a pleasure to hunt they don't stick around long here, life is too short! LOL!

Jerry - Corey got in the final four Thursday night for a split at a $30 hunt and tonight we went to Shelburn for a $50 hunt. Corey won his cast tonight but bot got beat out of final four cast by tie breaker, did at least get $50 back in return so all was not lost! Have a couple more hunts this week and next weekend so kind a waiting to see how he does during this stretch!

Roy for a pup she is a ball of fire. She is running and treeing on some trees and when she trees she is a treeeeee dog! Time will tell but being lazy will never be her short fall!

By the way hope that old football injury gets better soon so you can hit the timber! LOL!
