I actually had a headache driving home; my brain was on overload from all the knowledge that it tried to take in from Turpin. It was like hunting with the man who invented coonhunting. Lol

Big Congrats!

Alex and I would like to send a big shout out to the big man Kenny Meyer for winning his cast Saturday night at the ICHA club run off. His nt ch Sadie female treed 2 coons and looked good doing it. He had the privilege to draw Logan Ray and his Thunder dog (finished 6th this year at the World). If any of you know Logan; you can sure imagine they had a great cast...he's one of the funniest guys around the coonhunting world.

Man those things are huge! Ill never forget I was hunting Sis last winter and she caught a bore on the ground. He got a hold of her ear and cut it pretty good. I got there and the snow for about a 10 foot diameter was covered in blood. They were still fighting when I got there, so I finished him off for her. She's got some serious grit! How's Shadow doing?

He is doing awesome! gave him a break last night,.....been hunting him hard. He is fast, when he opens you may as well start walking...he will be treed in a few minutes. Shot him about 22+ coon so far. Been hunting him solo, he is a go getter!!!

I could think of a lot of things I would have rather been doing than been on that cast Saturday night. I have never almost fallen asleep on the ground during a cast, but I almost did the other night! And my guess is if we would have brought our English muts, your coon total would have doubled!!

Took Heidi out for the first time tonight since picking her up Sunday. She was hooked at 930 yards in 6 mins. Had a double. I got a feeling that she's gonna like the southern part of the state as much as the northern
