Hunted Jim last night. He hunted good , but seems to be rusty. He came in and backed my other male and treed hard. Very intense bawl mouth tree dog, but he is a perfect gentleman. I had two males on a small tree. Andy weighs in at 85 lbs and Jim at 95 and they were just hammering away. Just gone have to hunt him some more and see how he operates. He hunts good but seems to hunt more with you. Don't really blow out of the country. Steve thanks for the info on the bloodline. Don't forget me on a female when you have some luck with a litter.

What all males are out there or u have steve up for stud that are line bred old Vaughn perryman arkie stuff n that hunt n do it right thanks

I don't know what part of Illinois you are from but there's a nice male in Carbondale. He's a grandson of my old Bawler dog. I can think of three sons of Bawler in West Virginia that are all throwing nice pups. One is a dual grand.
If you want to come to Arkansas, I'll take you to the woods with my Arkie Jack male. I can't say anything about what he will reproduce yet because his first litter was born yesterday. Lol I plan on crossing him on one of my other females this year. Time will tell.

Steve how has the hunting been down there? We have been treeing a lot of kitten coon. The corn will be in the roasting ear stage in a couple weeks, looking forward to some good races. Take care.

I haven't got to hunt much this past couple of months due to work. Although, I am still sneaking in a couple of nights. I haven't treed any kittens yet. Just getting a couple of short runs and big wooley trees.
My overtime at work will slow down after the 4th of July week and I'll get more hunting done then than I am now.

Colorado pup

Got some updated pictures of the pup I sent to Colorado. He's making a nice looking hound and starting to improve on both lion and bear.

Jack and Pepper making a little racket the few times I've been able to take them out lately.

Everything's good here Nathan. Getting hot and working a lot of hours. I've got a few nights set aside to hunt this week. I'm going to see if I can't run a little fat off these hounds!
