Darren,
Got some good reliable info on some of the dogs on the bottom side of her pedigree. I had heard alot of good on the Phydeaux dog through the years. I really like the prospect of him and Logan in a pedigree. Logan had also crossed well with the Smokey River Bred dogs. Cotton has old Bullet and Rambo II doubled up on her through Belle. Looking forward to making this cross when the time comes. Going to put Hammerhead in the woods before that to see what we have in her.

Hey Scott and Rick , finished Cotton to Ch on bench Friday night with another best of show. Didn't do too good in hunt. Had a chance or two to win but just didn't get a break. We didn't have a cast winner. Gone stay after her and hopefully have her dual Ch before long. Hope all is well with you and yours,

Congrats to you and Charlie on your Bench wins with your Logan pups. I think hunting has been a little tougher all over and now it is just plain hot. Keep it going guys.

Scott the switch flipped on for Clover. He treed 1 Sat night, 2 Mon night and 1 last night. I am hunting him by his self. Opening good on track and tree now. Real good mouth. Gaps his barks on track and covers ground between barks. Good distinct locate on tree. Starts out treeing mainly bawl mouth and after a few minutes he will get a rythem going and start chopping. Raining here now or I would be hunting. Dog is hunting out good. When i have one start I put 60 nights of just me and him and then I will mix it up cutting him with dogs and by his self. I do not really know what triggered this because I was starting to think he wasnt going to make it. Anyway I got my next 57 nights booked.

Hanmmerhead/Cami

Hunted Hammerhead and Cami Wed. night. Hammerhead is alot like Cami hunts out on a run. I think she may have a little better nose than Cami and seems to move a track well. Tough to tell in these corn fields now with all of the kits in them. She did snatch one out of a hole the other night. Seems to bark just right on track and a steady chop mouth tree dog. Nice smooth bawl on track. She has alot of sense and is easy to get along with. Nice dog and I am glad she ended up here.

Logan and Cami Female

There is a real nice female pup on the board for sale out of Logan and Cami. She will be 6 months old this week. Coon crazy and ready to go to the woods or be put in the hands of a trainer. This cross may not be made again and there was a total of 4 females out of this cross. The oldest and only one is up in New York. And I have one and the fellow with the one for sale bought two. His two are working a caged coon and I have not shown mine one yet. If you are looking for a top prospect with this blood. One is available.

Congrats Derick on your wins. I would love to see a pic of her. I have a sister out of second cross I call Cotton. I really like her. Got her Ch with two wins to grand and two first place wins. Got to hit a few hunts and get her finished. Hopefully I will have a litter out of Logan in the next few months.

Looks like a good cross for sure. Lots of Ranger and Rebel back in the pedigree. Looking forward to meeting down at the Roundup. I have a female here to breed to Banjo so I am not sure if I will be down on Thursday or Friday but I will be down there. My Son is coming down with me. I will be hauling a couple of year old Money and Cami pups for a guy and Logan, Hammerhead and Heather also. Looks like I will have to bring the trailer.
As always the Fall Roundup is one of the most enjoyable hunts of the year. Seems to be a little different crowd there than some of the other bigger hunts. Last year it was warm the first couple of days and then rained and got cold on Saturday if I remember correctly. See you next week.
