I have never hunted with smokey but got a 10 month old female out of him that is loud independent tree dog ! Bo is a straight up guy will tell u like it is

Bo
Wanted to let the Hollycreek gang know there's a new dual champion out of Smokey and Katie. Hunted Charlie at Cumberland, VA last night and he won his cast.
Did a real good job on the second drop, treed about 200 yards from the other dogs, held the pressure and he had the coon.

Got a few hunts coming up in March, so hopefully he will continue to perform and we can get a start to the next level.

I'm so glad to hear that, and glad to see charlie is turning into a nice hound, 3 hunts, 3 cast wins is pretty awesome, Thanks you for hunting him hard and giving him the chance to make something. Hard to get the young dogs in the rite peoples hands, Thank you again for competition hunting him and also for breeding jennie to smokey, I love my pup, he's a great acting lil feller.. Thanks BO, going to try and get some more coons out on him asap and hunt him hard by himself. If my mind don't change I may hunt him in one of the upcoming hunts this month around here and try my best to finish him out before summer.

Luke is one of the nicer pups that I've started, he's quick to learn and has a lot of things I like in a hound. Ill be trying another outta Smokey in the future for sure. Keep him in the woods kyle.

Charlie

Bo, Ryan and Sam,
Wanted to give you guys an update on Charlie.

I hunted Charlie in a two night hunt up in Locust Grove this weekend. He won high scoring Nite Champion both nights. Friday nights score was 350+ (no minus) and Saturday night had 225+ (no minus). Did an excellent job both nights.

Also got another Champion win on the bench Saturday. One more and he'll be done. Got several compliments on how well he was build and his posture on the bench.

As I told you on the phone I'm very impressed with the pups out Smokey. Of the dogs I've competition hunted Charlie is the first that started and won the first five cast he was put in. I have high hopes that the pups out of Smokey and Jenny turn out this good.

Hope all is going well with Ryan and hope to see all of you at the BBOA State in Goochland.

Russell and Charlie, It sounds like you got a good thing going on up there, Charlie is one fine looking hound for sure, I'd say prolly the best looking male dog i have ever raised, I hated to sell him but at the same time I knew you would make something out of him, Much harder to get a young dog going good down here in these mountains and thin coon.. I give you much deserved credit on what you have accomplished thus far with charlie..

I'm sure we will get good results with the pups out of smokey and jenny, My lil male we call smoke might be the smartest lil pup ive ever had, he acts great..Hopefully we can make it the Gooochland hunt and again congratulations...
