Gerald,
Have you seen any young coon out yet? There have been a couple of guys up this way that have seen some. Shelly should really look good in kittens. It looks like we are picking up Glo (2011 National Queen of Hunt) next week and making the trip to Wisc. to visit Wacker. This should be an outstanding cross that produces some REAL treedogs that will get gone and have the meat............Tim

we treed kittens in a broke off tree about 5 feet off the ground, you have seen Rugger on that tree, he was treeing with every thing he had, he was treed with the other dogs, and he knew there was coon there,I will say this now, watch for Rugger in the future, I believe he has what it takes to win,he is loud and tree,s with a hard loud chop, Mad dog Ruger, (JohnIIxPolly)........Gerald

good hunt

good hunt last night, 2 dogs caught an opossum on the ground, Shelly wanted none of it she got away all together, we then treed coon and called it quiets my hunting buddy was soaking wet from the bayou......Gerald

went to a hunt at star city, Ar. last night picked up another nitech win on Shelly, she ended up with 175+ 200 circle 0 minus, it was hot, dogs were panting hard after the first tree, 2 wins 3 to go.....Gerald

Timmi, you guys have done more than your share, hope smoke gets better and can get the Wendy female breed to him, this has been a positive year thus far for team Mad Dog, proving that this blood was no accident, it was formulated by selective breeding habits that has resulted in fixed genetics that produces winners, keep them in the woods......Gerald

hunt update

hunted Shelly at Rison/Woodlawn cha last night, coons were not moving it was tough on the dogs and it was humid, several circle trees, Shelly got a coon treed in the last 15 minutes of the hunt and picked up her 3rd nitech win.......Gerald

Timmy your right, I have a plan in place I think, I picked up a Turk x owl creek lucy female, she don,t know any thing yet, it,s obvious that she has not been hunted and has mostly set in a pen, but she will get exposure for sure and we will see if she makes it........Gerald

Hows the pup doing? The one I have from the same cross is running track like a super star but still needs some tree time yet. The kittens will help this summer and the corn field races too.

How many wins do you have on Shelly? Might be that you and I will have to have a race to Grand Night now that Ranger blew Robin out of the water!!!!!haha

Good luck this weekend if you are going some where.
