Russ and Dan
It was good to see you all again. It was nice hunting with ya. I enjoyed seeing patch go. Sat night was a good cast. I had with 450+ but I cost him some minus and he cost himself a little so I guess we were even. Had a super cast. I drew the gentleman from Missippis that bred to bum. I hope you recover from the trip ok and we'll se ya in Minn.

"BACK UP'S"?

Larry, deffinately was nice to meet you in person as well & I enjoyed it! One of these day's maybe we can do that huntin together thing god willing.

Corey, Was an educational hunt for Dan in a few way's but it helped to get him up on the wheel I have a feeling. Me, I had fun watchin the puppy's play. The one lil female that thought she was gonna go to the dog's only to get tangled up in the grass over & over again brought a few smile's to my face!!

"Patch" has been progressing on the fast track version. A couple night's back he held all the pressure you could put on a dog two outa three tree's & stayed put without missin a beat & had the meat when we went in a half hour after he treed. The third coon they struck on a creek along a extremely dried up & dust choked cornfeild that like the rest, was in bad need of a good rain.

He opened a few time's on the creek & within just a few short minute's he had swung around that feild in stealth mode, picked up the track & fell treed in true "Patch" style. Blowin'er down & makin the holler ring. We let them tree on that one for a good half hour before we stumbled to them as well & the coon was there.

I really enjoy watchin a young dog develop & go through the change's. The locate that develop's,the ability to swing & drift a track as well as the speed that goes hand in hand with cold track's.

Now this is just my opinion of course for what it's worth but I forsee him as as much of a total package as we could ask for. Can't wait till them kit's start crawlin around to watch him perfect the layup ability he show's nightly.

Just the beginning of the fun we're gonna have with him for a lot of year's hopefully. Nice hound for Dan to learn the rope's with we think anyway's......................

"Fancy" & "Coop" are over ready for class to start. Guess I need to get goin so we got a couple back up's for the back up's just in case one of them back up's need's a back up!!

Wow, Russ Im sure glad I didn't go to Ill now! I wouldn't have wanted to give them little suckers up! Very nice looking. For some reason Im kinda fond of an all blue dog. Don't know why. Ever since my uncle had the 2 yr old female I really liked her color and actions. She reminded me of the one you were holding on the left. Solid black head.

Hope they are all you are looking for plus some!

An understatement Mike!!! They are awsome lil bugger's. They are on the go all the time as a team whether wadin through the cattail's stalkin frog's or investigating the home's of the crawdad's along the creek & in it.

I couldn't be more pleased no way no how than I am havin them take up residency in the holler here!! Excellant personalitie's which is a requirement here, eager to learn & full of spunk!!

Thank's again Mike,Ron & Renae for assisting the injection of some more "BOOMER" blood in scenic southwest Wisconson. The future is lookin brighter every day!

Mike, I did get the paper's & sorry for not givin ya a call. Been in la la land purty heavily since our road trip.

Thank's again! They came from a good home & are at one now I like to think anyway. Everbody want's a part of them.........

Dang Russ

---Them are some darn fine lookin' lil rascals! Need to let you know again that it was my pleasure to be a part of the transition. Hopefully in a couple years there will be a resurrection of some old blood in a new direction. Time will tell.
---I have had contact with a couple more people with all blue females, one of the Boomer decent, that are supposed to come visit Bud this summer.
---Sure would like to get a couple of Bud's pups or grand pups to cross back on Patch. Man, Patch is loaded with that (GOOD) old time blood. Maybe when I find one worthy, I will make a trip to Wisconsin. I know that good blood runs deep but I still try to breed for good coon dogs.
---Those are some great pics! Good luck with all the pups.

Ron, We're gonna work on concentratin some of the hound's of the past the way we want them. Gonna be interesting to see what unfold's in the next few year's with a cooperative effort!!

"Patch" has been lookin awsome. Drop rite out of a hot race & power slam behind the other's & have the meat. His parent's are proud of him & his sister "Moe" as are we.

Gonna make that cross again so's we have some ankle biter's to watch grow............
