Anybody else hunting a dog off of Elk River Shannon and Tucker? I know there were a few around Abingdon area. If anyone knows how they are doing, let me know. I am liking mine.

Hey Aron, sounds good, glad to hear you got a good new prospect. I have talked to one guy that has a littermate- his wasn't cranking yet, but needed time in the wood. I have a new prospect [tucker x elk river shannon] she is gonna get tough. the hardest thing with her is gonna be keeping her alive! she hunts with such a level of determination that she will likely get herself killed. climbing trees, pushing coon up into culverts and drain tiles, catching them in the water- you name it she has done it , and thats just in the last two months.

I am still wishing that UKC would create an option for this website in which a thread could be made "sticky"- not at the top of the list, but just so it wouldn't fall off over time. Threads that were deemed to hold a sufficient amount of photos or info on any stud dog, noteworthy competition dog or brood female even. The nonclassified forums hold their threads longer, but even there to make a thread sticky would be handy- threads about coonhound paralysis, how to load photos, garmin how to threads, etc.

At age 14 Tucker has a new litter. He was bred to a very nice female, super nice tree dog. I believe she is single registered. Pups will be affordable considering that mother is just single reg. Let me know if you are interested. Remember that Tucker threw some great dogs off of fairly unknown females.

What is the price gonna be on these? I've got a couple friends just getting into coonhunting and might be looking for their own dog. One of them is a high schooler who has been taking Edge out for me while I'm at work. Right time, right price I might even be interested.
