Dual Gr Ch Houses Lipper

Hi,

Most people either loved Lipper or hated him. Not much middle ground.

Lipper took Finley River Dan dogs, of mine, to the next level. I have been linebreeding that cross for a long time.

I hunted with Lipper the first night Mac had him in Missouri and he was bred to Trap the same night. After breeding Trap, we went hunting. He treed a double out of a corn field on a late winter's night with the moon up.

That's the people that need to talk about lipper the ones that hunted with him and raised his offspring so many times you find out people were hunting grand pups saying the were hunting lipper dogs not quite the same I loved the grand pups thank you for sharing they say old Dan was a heck of a dog that evidently was a good cross.

What I did like about them was the way they hustled what people call hustle today is line drive strait in the country out of hearing. The lipper dogs might have got deep but they hunted the woods as they went.

Actually Adios Lightning was from the Baggett's Dixie and Lipper cross. Adios Eagle was from the second cross of Cotney's Coco and Adios Lightning. Boy was this a super cross. First litter produced a Dual Grand Adios Magic, an outstanding female Honey ( never competition hunted ) and a I believe NKC world show champion female. Those dogs had it all. Superior track, loud mouths, locates a kid could call, stay put tree dogs that would back off from a gator, superior conformation, no quit. Oh yeah I forgot to tell you Cotney's Coco was a direct daughter of House's Clint

Hi,

That cross definitely worked. I was listening to loud mouth tree dogs long before Lipper came along. That cross just brought the volume to the next level. Those pups literally would drown out other dogs.

They were hard hunters that hunted in huge circles til they struck. They never left the country to strike.

You couldn't ask for better treedogs. They would hold the tree until you got there... no matter how long it took.

Still hunting that cross. Line bred them for years and still linebreeding them.

I don't think I would get to excited about that Tar, when making a stud dog sometimes the easy entry card makes its rounds to the hunts but the dog doesn't.
