female

Corey...went again last nite, she was pretty tight on thetrack again but turned it loose on the tree. She is the lighter dog .......

You might have the first silent bluetick. Wonder if she will open more on better tracks when the ground warms up. Champ is that way on bad tracks. Often just a few barks and a locate.

Dutch

Cory, get some updated pictures of those Dutch pups on here! I had a great hunt with a pup out of Jenny last nite split treed 100 yrds deeper than Pete and had a coon. Pete did a good job as well walked right by him on the way into her and he never missed a beat! This little female may need a date with Dutch when I get her finished. She is only 9 mo but Dang she looked good last nite! Hopefully she will continue to improve. Take Care Stuffy

Was winning the cast after a 3rd and 1st on only coon scored and seen when he decided to be a bone head and took a big 1st and 1st minus. Still ended up "winning" the cast with 50-. Listening in at the clubhouse afterwards, it seemed like a night where most casts had multiple slicks with dogs that don't normally do that. All last night did was get me excited for the next hunt and make me think he just might win a couple casts along the way.... CAN'T WAIT!!!

Took Boy behind the house, the video I sent ya was on the first one. Grubbed up a cold feeder track and had the meat.

Cut him again and he smoked a track over a hill. I looked up where he started that track and there sat a coon. I thought the knucklehead was running the track backward. Bout 400 yards away he located and started pounding the tree. Got to him and he had another. Figured 2 in 40 minutes was a good time to call it a nite.

I'll get an earlier start tomorrow nite. Gonna push him hard this week so hopefully he'll do good at Paris, Mo this weekend.

Got your video on the way home last night. Sounds like a good tree dog. looking forward to hunting him a little. Need something to light my fire again. Hog hunt was kind of a bust. Passed on some 75-100 lb ers but didn't see anything bigger. Out of eight of us the biggest shot was 95lbs then a couple of 60 lb ers. The rest of us were looking for something a little bigger. Long drive to Ok and sucks coming home empty.

Brandon
thats great. sounds like bo can hang then. Good luck. Keep me posted.

Chad
It's getting closer.

Just finally got out the other night. Uno looked good on the first drop. We had a good hide season. Shot a bunch in the three weeks I took coon.

My Dad just got back from OK. He was hog huntn too. They hunted for four days and didn't see one.

Were did they go? Did they hunt a high fence area or open country. We were in a big high fence ranch. One area was 400 acres and one won was 800. The bigger pigs weren't coming to feeders I guess.

They were huntin open country. Pubilic ground. They did find a rancher down there that had 6000 acres and for 250 bucks they could shoot as many as they wanted for 2 or 3 days? That was down towards lake Texoma I believe.

Hey Corey

Why didn't you just go walkin' & stalkin'? If them little fellas' were there, the BIG ones shouldn't have been that far away!!! Take care, Ron.

Posted by Hawk32 on 03-15-2011 06:57 PM:

they dont really want u doing that. That was gonna be the plan the last day for those of us who didn't get one but it didn't work out. thats how i got one last year.

Forgot to mention they didn't go to that ranch. They did the walkin and stalkin thing lots of sign but no pigs. We shot some down around lake Waurika 3 years ago.
