Not bad for the 2nd hunt you ever been in (bob trained you well) and Rattler is the real deal, All you got to do is turn him loose an make the call's, he gona get struck an everyone will know when he comes on the Hardwood.

Looks like the bean dogs had a good showing over the weekend and are doing what they are bred to do. Mine did too but just around the house. Still fighting the leftovers from the flu with lots of sinus.

Took Clyde and Swag (smoke x candy) Friday night. On the first drop clyde made a den. Swag came in and we turned them back into another dog. They went the opposite direction and struck and drove a track about 600 yards. By the time we got around to them they were both treed but were split about 100 yards apart. Clyde had 2 coons and Swag had one! On the next drop Swag slipped off and treed in hole. Clyde circled around and treed a single in a pine. On the last drop Swag once again slipped off and worked a track by himself and treed. Clyde worked his track towards Swag and treed about 100 yards from him and had a single. We saw 5 coons and a den- not too shabby for the middle of February in the Virginia mountains. I hope Clyde keeps it up for this coming weekend!!!

Swag is starting to come around. He's making a dead loner and that sucker is accurate! Load the gun when he trees.

Dual Grand Roxie has a new owner and will be bred to GrNtCh Hardwood Bean, What makes this special other than Coon Dog to Coon Dog is I owned Southern Sky an was the breeder of Dual Grand Roxie. It's nice when ya see your work come back around, or im just getting old?

There's something to those rat females crossed on Bean. It seems like those litters always turn out extra nice!
