THINGS CHANGE

KELLY, I UNDERSTAND THAT YOU MISS YOUR SON, [IM A DAD TO]. PLUS I HAVE HAD SOME MAJOR CHANGES IN MY LIFE TO . SINCE I FELL AT WORK 8 MONTHS AGO, [ THANK JESUS IM BACK AT WORK AGAIN] , AND SINCE THE BOTTOM FELL OUT OF THE BUILDING BUSINESS, MY WIFE HAD TO GO BACK TO WORK. IT HAS BEEN HARD ON THE FAMILY [ESPECIALLY ME ]. I HAD HER WITH ME EVERY HOLIDAY FOR 24 YEARS, AND SOMETIMES NOW SHE HAS TO WORK SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS [ ITS HARD TO TAKE AT TIMES] BUT AS SHE SAYS '' IVE GOT TO GET TOUGH AND PUT UP WITH IT FOR A WHILE''. I GUESS WHAT IM TRYIN TO SAY IS, YOU PRAY FOR ME AND MY WIFE, AND I WILL PRAY FOR YOU AND YOUR SON. LETS TRY TO LIFT EACH OTHER UP IN PRAYER TO THE LORD JESUS. GOD BLESS YALL ALL.

done deal. i have to apologize to everyone for sapping sometimes. i have to realize, that when i am feeling like crap. others are feeling worse.

hey corky, what is your issue with the dakota? give me a little more detail, sorry, that was sketchy. i am not bad with vehicles. let me know.

you have too much heat from your heater? if you have heat, thermostat is working. only opens up at a certain temp. can take it out and put it in a pan of water and slowly bring to boil, you can see it open up.

Mornin, 35 at daylight.

Corky, low on water can cause that problem, t'stat maybe. Haven't seen a water pump cause a problem as you described.

The Westwood Wildcats from Camilla won the GISA Ga. State class A football championship last night over in Savannah. Congrats to them. 1st one in 9 years and my sons were on that team.

Sounds like a freeze plug leak. I have seen those corode and start leaking. Not a nice job. Hope it doesn't cost you too much getting it fixed. If that's what it is, the probelm is getting to it to fix it not the cost of the parts. Did I ever tell y'all I spent a number of years in the Parts and Service departments of GM Dealerships? Has been a few years since I was active in it though. I will say, you have to have your coolant systems flushed and refilled periodically to keep the coolant from becoming corrosive and damaging your radiator, heater core and other metal parts that are exposed to the coolant. Otherwise you are going to pay the price.

Made a trip to Wally World yesteday morning about 10! I have never been there and seen as FEW people. The cashiers were just standing out in the isle waiting. We asked the cashier what happened and she said they must have worn themselves out Black Friday! It was a madhouse then she said.

Hi Guys and Gals!

Just getting back on the computer... still in a Thanksgiving coma(not from food but visiting). We all had a genuinely great time at all the gatherings...
Been Icy Cool here.. NO CLUE what the temp has been though...LOL... that would take concentration and memory I DO NOT have at the moment!
Black Friday... We live down the road from a VERY big well known outlet mall... Most of us here wouldn't go out shopping on black friday except for Emergency items! lol... I Hate shopping anyway...
SO... Hoping all of you have enjoyed this holiday weekend and are well prepared for work in you are well and able... or not retired....

Va Reb and Kelley... All of us have ups and downs... it is part of being human... the GREAT thing is that we DO have lots of nice people who care and send thoughts and prayers. SURE can help!

Corky me and my oldest son deer hunted sat in the wind and cold he does not hunt much but even with the bad conditions I still loved being able to hunt with him
