Hey cory

If ya hear of anyone wanting to retire an old dog and give them a great home I am looking. I have some ground to hunt that is a couple hours away. I am not goin to be able to get there all the time so dont want a young dog. But an old dog that aint fancy would be fine just something to tree a couple coons once in awhile. There is a heavy population of coons and bobcats on this place and many many acres.

Jon Davis lost his nt ch (3 wins) black dog sunday night to a car. Digger was nice hound and will be missed. I know a lot of you hunted with jon and digger so I thought I would let you know. Jon also lost is gr nt cash dog this winter.

We are going to have our hide hunt on friday night November 12 at Troy. Would you guys like to make that night our blue hunt also. Kent has a friend coming from Tennessee that is going to do some cooking for us.

We can hunt as long as we want to and go with who ever we want. What do you think? Donellson has a hunt on Saturday night the 13th.

depends on if we are still playing. That is the semifinals. You see we are ranked #1 in most polls. Chances are that won't work for me even we do get beat out. that weekend is our big bowhunting weekend up north. We all get together and stay at a cabin for the weekend.

If we win out I am pretty sure we will have all three playoff games at home. I might as well sell all my bowhunting gear. I never get to use it anyway, but you never know could get beat out.

Man did a see a hog of buck last night. Just out of range though. all he needed to do was follow the field edge but he veered out into the field a ways. I'd say 165 inch tall tined 10. Shot a yote this morning at 20 yards

Bad news, not gonna be able to breed her this time around. She has a tumor that needs removed and the vet said it could cause problems.

Was looking forward to crossing them again, maybe next time.

800 bucks seems a little steep. Were is the lump at. If I remember right I had one removed off lace and it was only a couple hundred bucks.

Sounds good. Had a good hunt last night. Larry's dog split and then did a real nice job on one by himself. Stuffy came down and hunted pete and zore. I never even brought a dog. Made for an enjoyable hunt for me.

4 legs again

Sky's had her cast off for a few weeks now. Been easing her in on the treadmill. She's doing really well on her leg "considering" it has been broken in 4 places in the last year. She goes 1.25 miles a day on the treadmill, still has a slight limp, but is putting full pressure on it every step. Going to give her a try opening night of hide season.

Lookin' forward to MO season

I decided to knock the dust off my Dutch female tonight...so I turned her loose out of the kennel,she ran down in the timber below the house,hit a track,ran a ways and slammed a tree. I let her clean her lungs out a bit,then put her up. Me an the boy then jumped on the wheeler and took a spin around the farm and seen 17 more looking at us. Should be another exciting season!
