You jest never know what's going

to happen me and Lyndell Price have been hunting together for 30+ years we have had a lot of stuff happen while hunting or going to a hunt

Well tonight we made one drop dogs treed a big den. Well we decided to make one more drop before going home

Turned on the road were we going hunting on passed a deputy I told Price they are looking for you they know what an outlaw you are

Went up the road topped the hill here came blue lights and cars from every where. Lyndell said what did I do I said I do not know but they sure of nuff have caught us

Turns out there was a home invasion breaking and entering. The suspects where 2 men in a blue dodge truck can anybody guess whet kind of truck and the color Lyndell has

The other night coming out of the gate to go home a deputy stopprd to chck us out. He saw we were coonhunters, OK. He said taht area was on the regular patrol list due to its remoteness.

It's remote alright. 35 miles from town. the last 10 miles has 14 houses along a road that runs out where rivers come together. No reported problems.
Then I heard that is correct , Our Department wants so many deputies per acre, not based on population density. But they don't have enough deputies to go raid the Crack block. ???
??? ?????
So who do you recon is going to get stopped at midnight now by the maytag repairman for a chat if nothing else.

??? ???? ?????????
I don't think I can hardly wait for all this stimulus money to run out.

Corky had David been with us we would have been locked up for sure he just looks guilty. Come to thing of it they were looking for 2 young men maybe teenagers and Lyndell did not meet that part of the the profile

Johnny you are right but it may be Price come to think of it he got us locked up over W VA back in June of 86

Slough Price has some stuff he has to put on craigs list LOL

Posted by Slough on 11-19-2010 01:41 PM:

If Price comes down in Jan, I will have to try and remember to ask him about it lol!!

morning all, hope things are going well with everyone

Bond, neither you or Price fit the teenager profile by a long shot

Glad I wasnt along, got enough dealing with the law going on right now, it hits the pocket book hard

Corky, I dont even try to keep those two straight that would be a full time job

Hope all have a big weekend plan, I might deer hunt then get home in time to watch the Va Tech Hokies play the Hurricanes then if I dont feel to bad see if Bond wants to turn a dog loose somewhere tomorrow night

Church on Sunday for sure

David

Evening Folks!

Chili ALWAYS tastes better the next day! YUM! Gets hotter and tastier!

Think it was 31 this morning...been too long, now I forget! Colder now...Brrrr! Had a great walk with the dawg in the chill. "Chased" a pr of beautiful redtailed hawks from one place to another as we wandered... they looked miffed but beautiful!Snapped off a few pix from a distance. Nice time to be outside enjoying nature!

HIPPIES... LOL... I was born in 1960, Bob in 63. I am SO short that bellbottoms were ridiculous on me. AS for the music, Bob and I are so much alike on that... we love ALL good music really.... Funny to get on here and see the hippy talk! LOL...

Johnny, I was winking about the cats BUT.. I really am not a "cat lover" per say... I love creatures and will care for them when needed, and I adore my own cats and a few others. I think they are ALL beautiful...well almost all... BUT I will admit they SCARE me to death! LOL... I do not trust cats the way I do most dawgs. Until we had a BnT with "rage syndrome"... I was fearless with dogs. Now I have an edge of fear I do NOT like... makes me un able to handle the way I would have. With horses I had a respect for all but was fearless when handling a horse on the ground(I was scared riding-ALWAYS!)... In ALL my yrs with horses I had only ONE who I was scared to handle. My arab stallion, who was tiny... I handled him well but I always had a touch of fear. I realized looking back I was too much in AWE of him... he was wild and ethereal and amazing... I never conquered it to ride him but my partner did well with him. When I look at how I feel about cats... I consider them WILD the way I did that stallion... I don't WANT to break that since it is beautiful.... Not sure that makes sense... DOgs are not wild to me.
OK.. enough babbling... but I am realy weird about cats!
LOL... OK.. Maybe just WEIRD! Heather
