The hardest coons to find are the ones that aren't there to begin with.

She's to old to do it anymore, but before I retired her she was all anyone could ask for in a coon dog. I did manage to get some really good pups off her.

Double Hardwood Bean bred. I raised and trained him here in Wv. He is in Missouri now. He was and as far as I know still is a fine young hound.
White coon
Here is something rarely seen in Wv. Treed this coon back several years ago. I have treed several solid black ones but in my 26 years of coon hunting this is the first white one. Not an albino, but white.

Penny split treed with these two coons. The video quality isn't the best but this isn't Hollywood.

Thanks! When we treed that coon there was about 4 inches of fresh snow on the ground. My hunting buddy saw the coon's eyes in the forks of a tall poplar tree. He thought the coon was a clump of snow in the fork of that tree. He said "I see it's eyes! It's lying there in that fork on top of a clump of snow." when he shot it out it was a white coon. That's the only white one I've ever treed but have treed a few solid black ones. Thanks for the compliments.

Penny treed with the coon. 2 drops Saturday night looked at 5 coons. Thursday night 2 trees looked at 2 coons. This little female is deadly accurate.
