I hear from the North Country that Cowboy's littermate sister Mad Dog Look Out Lucy just won a 2nd place last night, that makes her a 1st and a 2nd along with a BFOS. I like to see more than one from a litter make it.

Guy Denhe has a male littermate to Cowboy (GR NT John II x GR NT Lucy) that is really coming along well, Moses has a big mouth, hard tree-dog, goes hunting and plenty of looks. Should be hearing about him in the hunts this summer and fall.

I hear Cowboy's first litter is really giving the cats a hard time, they are around 6 mos old now. They will be just right for this hunting season..........Tim

Paul took his John dog to town for the first time this last weekend and brought home a 1st place. John likes to get gone and get treed and doesn't have to have company. He can get treed close or get DEEEEEP and will usually have the meat. He has a good mouth that can be heard.

Really enjoyed the hunt with Paul and Mark last night, ole Ranger can still get the job done in style and Paul's little female sure isn't bashful about picking a tree and she is a loud hard treedog that will stay hooked. She is going to make the right kind..........Tim

Just to let everyone know Paul has been getting a lot of phone calls wanting to know if John III is for sale. John III is a nice young dog that should finish out into something that will open a lot of eyes. He has the tools that could put him way ahead of the curve. Paul has no plans on selling him at this time..........Tim

This next week is going to be busy for the boys. Monday there is a NT CH female from MO. coming in to be bred to Cowboy, Tuesday a female from SE Ohio to be bred to Ranger and Friday one from NW Illinois to be bred to Astro. All of these females are coondogs that will get the job done. I will post their peds when they are bred...........Tim

Sweet Springs Hunt

Had a good time at the local club Friday night, I helped Paul with the Bench Show and I served as Hunt Director for the hunt. Not to big of a turn out, 2 open Reg casts , 2 NT CH casts and 9 dogs in the Bench Show..........Tim
