MAX the news just confirmed that the storm we had last night was indeed a tornado. I don't why they would finally come to that conclusion, many large tree uprooted, houses torn up and building blown away. Pretty ruff night to say the least.

i hear that! my yard is a mess and lot of trees and tops down but thankfully no buildings or vehicles hurt. alot of firewood to work on though thankful it wasnt worse.

Max we made two dumps tonight and made two trees. One looked like a beaver got a hold of the tree. Skidd got a little hot since it took us a little while to get there. Corey got a few pictures and will be posting them. Jango and Skid both did a nice job on the first coon together and Skidd hit the second one and ran it a while before Jango put in, Jango was the other direction but didn't take long with both of them pushing it. Dogs got hot, we got hot and called it a night. Going to try it again tomorrow night with Skidd and Riptide. Need to get a little fat off Skidd!!

Really!!! Yea he got a little pumped as the coon was not very high in tree and when blowing the coon squaler they could see the coon moving all over the small tree! Did not chew as bad on the big tree, calmed down a little. A little more hunting and get some more weight off will help.

Max we had a pretty good night. First dump they got in there about 540 yards and treed across a river. We drove around and Riptide and Skidd was knocking it down. Corey got a few pictures, a little beaver work but not too bad tonight. Second dump they both hit red hot and both split treed where we took you, Laydan and your dad down along that big creek. Skidd held his tree and did not move a hair, and they both had a coon, there were coons setting everywhere. It is not very seldom you see a young one split tree have a coon with an older hound 50 yards or less blowing the top out of his tree. Very little beaver work there as well!

Skidd trees pretty good with the other dogs but I feel he trees much better by himself, doesn't jack the tree as much. The good is he can and will get treed either way and will hold the tree when he splits off.

Max got in late last night so did not give an update. I know one thing, we got into too many coons and Skidd missed on a couple trees. Within a 100 yards we seen (6) coons setting up not counting what we treed on. I think it blew Skidds mind a little, say a whole lot!LOL! Next dump Jango hit and both of them drove one in a corn field and slammed a tree, they had it and did a nice job. The corn field they ran in is over my head, won't be long and with the kittens we seen in these two area's it should be some fun a little later on. If you can't get Rugar too tree a coon Max let me know and we will bring him back down here! Hell we are easy to please, everyone around here will tell you that because we hunt Blue dogs! Would like to get another Riptide from you!

Max Our hunt tonight did not go so well. First dump Riptide and Skidd struck quick and treed quick. That was the good! After we got there my light went dead and I mean dead. Tried to get a video clip but it was hard with one light, Corey will post it later. Next drop we only cut loose Skidd, did not hit anything. Loaded back up and made a second dump with Skidd, he struck pretty quick and ran about 15 minutes and treed, rough tree to shine and could not find it.

Max we are taking all three tonight, SKIDD, JANGO and RIPTIDE. Hoping to get a good video of some intense treeing with all three on the wood for my English buddies! I know it will be hard to do with all the Bawl mouth Blueticks treeing! Also hope to put some real pressure on SKIDD like we did with RUGAR, see what he is made of! Should be fun tonight! Nothing like taking a few spectators along for the ride! LOL!

Going to work the other two litter mate pups to Bella tomorrow and we if we can have any fun with them yet! Will keep you posted if they break loose, standards are set high!

Well Max we made two dumps prior to getting rained out. First dump they got in there about 400 yards and treed, could not find it. Second dump they all got in there about 500 plus yards and ran one all over a corn field and I mean very large corn field, roughly 400 yards across it!. We found this coon but all three were pretty hot when we did get there. Corey got a few pictures and video but not to impressive since they were all hot, I just as hot as them! Skidd did get a few pretty good battle scars! LOL!

Riptide, Jango and Skidd after a long corn field chase treed with the meat. Click on video They were alittle hot by the time we got to them.

And here is a pick of my father leading 2 dogs out of a big corn field. I had to make fun of him. Alittle hot and the rain starting to come down. We called it a night after that dump.

looking good fellas, sounds like they got a good workout. Jango and Rip Tide are good hounds to hunt a young dog with. its best to watch who and what you hunt them with when they are getting to going good. Mark is pretty particular about that!

If it doesn't rain tonight we are going to try it again. I think we will only take two this time, Skidd and one other! Taking three too often will make anyone old!
