Sounds good Rick. At least you are able to stay busy. With our economy lately lots of folks are sure struggling. My job in the soft drink business is pretty steady as well. Sometime when you get some time we will turn one loose. Do you know if Scott can ship semen from LOGAN? I would have to find a vet here that would inseminate but didn't know if Scott could ship or not. The Doly female I have here is out of GrNtCh Pr Big Time Albert and a Jaggs female. I know Belle (Cottons Momma ) is out of Jaggs as well. Dolly also is a Grandpup from Seidlings Blue Star ( Littermate to Washburn Valley Blue Drip). Dolly will tree her own coon and has a UKC 1st and some show wins. She is a hard clean little tree dog. Her ears are a little big as she pays too much attention to what other dogs are doing but has lots of good qualities I like as well. Would like to get one litter out of her and see what would happen. I do plan on hunting her in some more hunts but she will be on backburner for awhile behind Cotton. Darren

I have shipped chilled semen here before but I think the success of it depends on the Vet to make sure they know what they are doing. I think you also want to get a progestrone test done on the female to make sure she is right. Just let me know if and when the time comes.

Scott I will be checking around to see about a vet. I know there is a better success rate when it is surgically implanted. I will see where the closest vet is that has experience in artificial insemination and go from there. Cotton has done well even after she stood up in heat for three weeks. Gone really hunt her hard and hit the hunts. Just hate these leaves. Honest dogs cant get a break and lying dogs get by with it!! Talk to you later, Darren

Sounds good Darren. Heather started to come into heat today. Not sure yet if I am going to breed her yet or not. I would like to keep hunting her.

Scott. Just got another UKC best of show on cotton. That is two Best of Show's and a class and breed at the Alabama State Hunt. That's 95 pts. 3 shows entered. Gone hunt her tonight in hunt. Darren

Thanks for compliment Driller. She is put together right. Ole Logan will put the looks on them.

Thanks Scott she looked real good in the hunt. 725+ and 150 circle. Also had a coon about 5 minutes after hunt ran out. She split twice and had meat. If you breed your gyp I definately want a pup Scott. Thanks Darren

Scott I have the female here that I bred to Jobe. I am going to try to get a litter from her in late OCTOBER. She is a mate to Terry Tibbs Razor male. If we can make it work I would like to breed her to LOGAN. We will talk as time gets closer.

I am going to make the decision tommorow to breed Heather or not.
I really like the breeding behind the Hammerhead female and it did not take us long to make the decision on her.
