THANK YOU!!!! It's kinda bitter sweet with Hemi....Her accomplishing her titles means she will be going back to Mississippi with her "real" owner...I will miss her soooo much!! Long story, but I will say, that it has been a pleasure working with Mr. Jackey Jones. He bought my pick puppy when she was 6 months old and left her in my name so I could do anything I wanted to do with her. He has hunted her, started puppies with her, while all along, letting me get her anytime I needed, to make these achievements happen.

I am so blessed to have such awesome folks owning my puppies!!

A youth, Zach Wood owns, hunts and shows one of our pups out of Tracker x Ice Baby.

Mr. Marvin owns another Tracker x Ice Baby pup that I donated to a youth raffle last year. She just won her 1st Best of Show last night at Kinder with 3 breeds...Hopefully when he recovers his health, he can get her back in the woods...

Tracker, the sire to ALL of our dogs you see us out with, has been being hunted by Mr. Joe Lewis since April. Hopefully we will be seeing and hearing more about Tracker in the near future...His puppies are making us very proud!!!

YES!!! WE WILL SEE YOU THIS WEEKEND AND WILL BE GOING TO HIGBEE!!!
I am excited about this years MO Fed race coming to an end and even more excited for the new year to start opening the doors to a new race!!!

Are you putting Judy in the races yet? I've had Jori in 3 now. She finally swam all the way on Saturday, without turning around a few times on the way. LOL Now she just needs to figure out the barking at the tree part.

I'm still undecided about Cole Camp. 7+ hr drive, 2 nights in a motel, and the cost of fuel right now..... I never expect my dog(s) to win, but Rose is looking sorrier than usual. She didn't even swim in the race Friday. Jumped in, went about 15 ft, then turned around and came back. It's been a long time since she's pulled that stunt. She's always been inconsistent in the water races, but I'm also going to blame it on her post-heat hormones.

Shawn, I betcha you finish Copper this weekend!

Congrats Sabrina on finishing Hemi to WCh!

Had a great time at the event Saturday in Wilton WI. Weather was perfect. Seemed to me like they had a really good turnout for the BS, FT and WR. (Didn't stay for the hunt.) They did King and Queen in the BS and Overall winners for the FT and WR.

Congrats to Travis (hootchandjaws) and Jaws (?? I think) for winning the FCh heat and overall in the Field Trial.

And congrats to Russ and Shelly Downing on winning the WCh heat and overall in the Water Race with Bum.

I'm sorry I don't know any of the other winners, but they had a nice representation of breeds too -- bluetick, plott, redbone and walker for sure.

I was really bummed to find out too late about the Field Trial overall competition. FT is what Rose really likes and is best at. If I'd known, I'd definitely have entered her. I wish they'd have posted that somewhere -- either on the grounds or here on the board.

I didn't even see you there sat. must have been busy watching the kids to much lol. The ol boy ran a pretty good race sat. 3 more wins to grand but I only see 1 more ft in sept.

Thanks Chawn.Your kinda right about "Ole Blue" cause I doubt if I swim him any more since he isn't as fast as "Ole Man"and they're both grand now.You asked about Judy so here is an update. I haven't actually entered her in competetion yet but I have put her in several practice swims and she swims all the way across real well and sometimes trees better than other times. For a pup I'm real happy with Her.I hope You make it to Cole Camp ,but believe Me I totally understand if You don't. Keep in touch My friends!!!

I gotcha Dennis. When you debut Judy in the Water Races, she's gonna be a contender! I sure wish I had access to a pond to practice our dogs in.
So glad you're still enjoying her!! Tiny seems to really be liking Ryder now that he's had him out hunting a few times. Don't think he'll be selling him anytime soon. And I sure like Jori -- fun personality and nice deep bawl mouth (unfortunately the kind that doesn't carry real well).

Anyone know if/when Troy has a water race in October?

How about pics or video of the pond at Higbee?

Water Practice!

Just sharing a few pics ... Been practicing the dogs but I think WI is about done for this year. I know our club should have lots of water races next year but for now focusing on the wi governors cup!

Went to the BBCHA Fall Roundup 2 wks ago and here are pics of the pond in Flora IL. Really nice pond but probably one of the shortest swims I've ever seen.
Rose was the 1st place loser in her heat and Jori was 3rd place out of 4.

Finished "Bum" to GrWCh to go along with his GrNtChGrCh a couple weeks ago.

Made WCh undefeated & GrWCh with one & a half loss'. Day he lost I knew he wasn't feelin good but we tried. He came in dead last that day. Took line another time but got beat to the tree.

When I finished him recently there was a dawg in it that never lose', pretty much, named "Wishbone",Walkerdawg. Win's alot in the jackpot races to. Well this trip down the pond he got literally smoked by the "Bum" in their first swin together :: His handler said "He never lose's especially by that much "

Our first to enter the swim racin circut but not the last!
