whwere i live the coon are thing. but the one's we do shoot out tend to be big. my young dog treed a 26lb coon by himself and my dog only weighs 40lbs lol. but are average are about 15lbs are big ones round 26 -29lbs

went sunday night got to the tree to take a pic or two with the intention of puttin them on here well what do you know cameras batteries were dead. anyways my dog had a descent size sow around 12 ilbs id say, long rance but he put him up pretty quick, my young dog has turned it on this season treed quite a few by hiself which is good considering i only get to hunt one or two nights a week mostly. he'll be two last day of the month.

iv seen some big 20lbs coons but not lately i was watchin a show the other night they said an average coon should weight 22lbs but ill take my 16 pounder for this year so far any way and thanks for the comment about the dogs i know mine are gonna be ran to death this weekend after the other night until im satisfied or ill be emptying my kennel and getting something that will do what i want

can u believe its jan ..lol Tomorrow: More clouds will build in with a slight warming trend through the weekend. Highs on Friday will reach near 55 degrees with a chance of showers increasing into the evening hours.

Congrats man!!!!!!!

well here is the drawing board for tonight with the heavy rains that we have had the creeks was up and out of the banks making where i hunt a island dogs struck around 8pm got so far out couldnt hear them finally get back to the truck to drive in hopes that the creek/river hadnt got the best of my hounds I head out down the side road and stop to listen i heard them but a good ways out after 3 miles of driven I get to them but guess what I cant get to them from here the water was to high keep in mind this is creeks and springs finally call the dogs off which sucks due to im sure we had a coon but around 11pm we was back home with all the dogs worst night yet i do believe
