cripple creek, for the last several years I've limited my breeding choices to dogs that I have personally hunted with. Sure doesn't guarantee anything when you make a cross but at least I know first hand what I'm breeding to, or into my dogs.
Knocks a bunch of stud dogs out of the running, and most of the semen. Just works better for me.

to each his own.....What works for one doesnt work for another. I applaud you for sticking to your guns and your long range plans.
there arent a lot of true breeders who stick to a plan and dont move off of it
you have a great thing going in your breeding pen. I can tell you are producing what we all like to hunt.

that female of your daughers is sure sharp. I think anybody looking for a dual purpose, dual grand prospect should buy her.

I have a Cowee Creek Clint female that's just coming in heat that will be bred, and KyChris on here has a female for sale, but she is about 11 months old. Thank you

Those of you that wanted a Crockett X Ann male pup might want to call Rob Gregory in London Ky.
I saw him saturday and he said he was thinking about selling Toby and his Yadkin River Curt female.
He is going to put most of his time into Little Ann, the only female out of Crockett and Ann.

Got a call last night from Roger Spurlock in London Ky.
He has a female out of Crockett and the Buggs female for sale.
Buggs is heavy Yadkin River breeding with a shot of Sackett Jr.
You can see a picture of Buggs a few pages back on this thread.
I think they are around 1 1/2 years old.
He said she is running and treeing, tight made and good looking, black head and back.
Asking $300

What's the price on the Clint pups ? I've been reading through your thread and I really like how you've determined your breedings and based your studs on . I can relate to you on a lot of those aspects , I had a hound that just died bred a lot like him GrNtCh Cords Lil Rattler . I am considering breeding my Megan female to him , never got Megan bred to rattler , she's due in heat bout anytime .

trackntreeman, sorry to hear that Rattler died. I kept track of him on here, sounded like a nice one.
Not sure if any of these pups are available yet, I won't know for a few more weeks. I have to contact those folks on the list that said they wanted one. They won't be over priced and I'll be taking momma and a pup back to WVa in Dec for bear season, might save you a little gas money. I will send you a pm on here if I have any available.

Crockett and our double Clint female.
Littermates are going to Rock Cave WVa and Rogers Ohio next week and they could possibly hitch a ride.
They are UKC reg only, Performance nominated.

These pups will be 10 weeks old on monday the 10th.
No better time to get them, they are big, strong and healthy.
Shots and worming up to date, 2 rounds of pup shots.
Loud mouths, very friendly.
Already running in the woods every day.
If you like Sackett Jr blood you should loves these, 4 X's!
The mother is a daughter of Cowee Creek Clint and her mother is a granddaughter to Clint out of Teflon Don.
I'm not just trying to sell these pups, I would like them to go to someone that will give me feedback on thier progress.
I'm looking to make this cross again, IF these make good ones.
$100 each to anyone that is serious about training and evaluating and giving me updates on them.
