Well they may be right lol. But I think I am right on the mark on this one I know the difference in an apple and an onion. Apple looks good taste good and smells good. Onion don't look good tastes ok and burns your eyes when you cut it. But a small group of people you can tell them an onion is an apple and they believe it. One coon in two hours is an onion lol.

Donnie there is a difference in thick ruff hunting but still having coons from the guys I talked to the terrain was a cake walk compared to here just no coons to tree not world hunt woods but heck a month from now nobody will even talk about the winners anyway be on to the next one it's getting to where it don't mean nothing anymore because below par is ok.

One coon in two hours sounds like the sorry dogs were wasting the hunting time of the good dogs that treed th one coon. If those slick treeing idiots would have stayed home maybe the real coondogs would have used their valuable time to tree more coons.

Maybe everybody else needs to kill 80% of their coons off so their dogs get used to it Lol. I'm just pickin at ya tar. I realize it wasn't the case all weekend but by reading the final cast play by play it didn't seem like those dogs covered much ground that night.

My opinion which ain't worth much....advance a cast winner on every cast at the finals as long as they didn't scratch for any reason. Ain't doin anybody any good cutting the field in half after one round because of a bad night. You should have to get beat to go home.

a bunch is just PO !! because some old X breed dog came into the pic and kicked your a!!! so bad you went back home with a bunch more and just couldnt believe what just happened !! I say squat! I rode over there Thursday to deliver a pup. I saw several dead on the road. If they have enough in the woods that they are out in the roads they have enough to tree more than one in two hours. I say poor dog power!

Grntch shack and Grntch backwater banjo and ntch yadkin tar Fred came from down here and they can dang sure tree more than one coon in 2 hrs anywhere but there banjo and shack had double cast wins at the zones I had 500+ no minus on sat night and I was leash locked for 35 minutes don't hit me with that no dog power crap better yet come on down.

I scored 725+ with a less than year old dog on its fourth night in the woods, closest dog to me had 400+. She was not a Coondog. Thick easy coons make big scores, not coondogs.

That's funny! You surely don't have a clue. Been leaving the truck with a machete for 20+ years, swatting snakes, dodging alligators, crawling, climbing, swimming, feeding dogs to gators, snakes, etc. Heard more times than I can count, "I'd quit if all I had to hunt is this".

Also, seen weeks where every time you dropped a dog you treed coons and other weeks in those same spots you couldn't get a bark. Sometimes coons move early at night, sometimes late at night, sometimes in the daylight. But, if they are getting struck they should be putting coons in trees 65+% of the time or you need a better dog. It looks to me the a high % of them dogs weren't getting coons in 10% of their trees. Poor dog power!

I drove all of the way out to Oklahoma to a hunt this past summer. We had a dead cast 2 of the 3 nights. Guess who was our guide and hunted his dog in my dead cast on Sat night? Hint: he was a super nice guy and a real sportsman.
