Piazon isn't a line, just a 12 year old, has been dog, that was pretty tough in his day. He's out of Taylor's Dancer dog and a female I had out of Spanky on her top side and about everything I've ever hunted on her bottom side. I can answer any specific ?'s.

Well I was getting a little worried, but in all fairness to the dog it was a long hot summer here and it seemed like every chance I had to hunt him it was raining too, so things got a little "delayed"....but this morning there were two half grown young coons on the feeder behind my house so I turned him loose just to see what would happen.....needless to say I am happy!!!!!

Yep, that's him...picked him up from Mark at Autumn Oaks that year. Nice little dog, quiet in the kennel but loud in the woods. He likes to eat and knock on wood has not messed with any deer and he has seen plenty.

WOW I can't say enough about Piazion as a sire I raised a pup out of him an a Boomer/DBL Bullet female that start treen coons at six months old by herself an now at 15 months she is in the top 5 dog I've ever hunted with in 40 years of hunting

Thanks Mark...I will keep you guys posted on his progress. He sure keyed up quick on coons, once he got to see/smell one. Now if he see's me on my 4 wheeler he blows a gasket.

Thanks everyone for the kind words about ole Piazon. He's off the reproducers list because he turned 12 and one of UKC criteria for a dog to be on the "current" reproducers list is for them to be under 12. I don't know if he will ever make the historical reproducers list because it goes by actual numbers of titled dogs, not percentages and he doesn't have near the puppies as most on there. Course we do have the miracle of frozen semen on storage, so we might still be able to put together a few more good crosses!
Msinc, I figured that was a Dizzie pup just from looking at it. The best mouths I have heard from any Piazon pups have come through Dizzie. I've got great reports from the males out of that cross, though not so great reports from the females-strange how that can be? I had a female from that cross. She basically was a pet and raised in the house. Hadn't shown much hunt interest, but hadn't been given much of a chance, do to my work schedule this summer, so I sent her to a guy that was advertising dog training on face book and seemed to have good references. 2 days later his wife called and said she got ran over and killed! He promised to give her a good burial and return my money, but that was nearly 2 months ago and nothing yet. I am beside myself, angered and hurt about what to do about that situation! I bought a male back from that cross that a guy wasn't satisfied with at 9 months and he has done super for me. He's currently at a top houndsman and trainer named Ken Herman house getting in on early Michigan kill season. Ken says hes looking good, even getting split with his own coon-I think he's going to make a nice one and can't wait to get him back in late Nov.!

Very sorry to hear that you lost that little female...I will try to put together a sound bit or video of this one doing his thing as soon as I get a chance, so you can at least hear his voice...kind of a loud bugle. It is strange the females didn't do as well in this litter. I really like mine, he is definitely a people dog. He would rather be petted and talked to than eat, but he does like his treats too. Kind of makes it easy to get some things done.
Best of luck with the one you have now. I am not so sure I get how someone could be dissatisfied with a 9 month old puppy???? I guess it takes all kinds. I'll keep you posted on his progress.

We have a grandpup of Piazon (out of Blue Label Two-Bit Lucy x Hagerman's Smokin Blue Jake) and he has been running and treeing with other dogs since about 7 months old. He is 15 months old now, a show champion, field champion, and really starting to hammer them on his own in the woods. I love his mouth. He's a yodel/bugle on track and bawl/chop on tree.

No, there haven't been any pups out of him in over a year. Kyle Mcintosh has a grand daughter to him in with him right now, but I don't know if the ole boy has the umph to get it done anymore, we will see.

Mike I have a soon to be 4yr old female off of Piazon x Fergesons blue Ring( Goes back to Bullet2). Her name is Jade.

My son just finished her to Grandnite a couple weeks ago. She seems to have a pretty cold nose and is a real nice tree dog. She could use a little more mouth but I guess we can't have it all.

Hope to make PKC top 16 Blue standings this year. We will see. Anyhow just thought I would say thanks for your part in her. My 15yr old son really likes competing with her and that is what is important to me.

I own a litter mate sister to your female. She's a descent little female, just not quite what my Abbie and Punkin females are-just doesn't have their indapendence, but nice in her own right. I don't know why I never got around to putting her in the hunts, but finally put her in her first one in November and she won her cast and took 3rd overall, so I plan to Nt. Ch. her next year!

Mike after the pumpkin pup I was going to get didn't work out I kept looking and found a 4 year old out of Piazon and Alice . Very happy with him independent , accurate ,great demeanor. I couldn't be happier. Piazon blood now in sure nuff Deep South.take care Wayne
