reunion

the terrain here in s.e. iowa is smaller timbers with crops typically on at least on side of them. we have guides that WILL PUT YOU IN COONS. the ground is relatively flat with rolling hills and creek and river bottoms. I live 5 miles from where the reunion will be and a member of the host club. Eldon has a nice fair grounds to camp at with the des moines river running right next to it. the nearest towns to the location that have motels are Ottumwa ia which is 20 min from hunt location and Fairfield ia also 20 min from the hunt bloomfield ia again 20 min from hunt. I will have my camper 200 yds across the river on our river camp site. I will have 3 other spots that will be available for campers with electric hook ups if anyone is interested in camping with us on the river. Hope to see you all there, we have a good bunch of guys that hunt around here should be some nice scores without having to drive very far to hunt.

The Zone 3 championship has been set. It will be at Highland, WI hosted by the blackhawk coonhunters on June 5th and 6th. Hope to see lots of you there, it should be a fun time with good huntin! Mark your calendars!

King and Queen will ONLY be based on Friday and Saturday.

Thursday RQE will not count. There will be plenty of guides if there are enough hunters for an all blue hunt also on Thursday if you do not want to hunt in the RQE.

Indigo Sky Hotel and Casino (918)666-8702 are offering a room rate for this event . The casino is about 2-3 min drive time from our club house located at the Seneca Ball Complex . Use hunt code "BLUETICK" when you call to make reservations . This will be the nicest room a coonhunter will stay in this year . You will also receive $10 in free play along with a discount at their restuarants for the weekend . The old Bordertown Casino that borders our club house is also re-openning next month it is walking distance . They have did a complete re-do on it . I will be doing the cooking for the weekend and we have had a hog donated for this event to put on the smoker . Thank you to the man from TX who is donating it !
