I miss many of the people....

Who once posted on the board. I understand there have been some disagreements. There has been such a wealth of knowledge and experience over the years. It seems like less and less are posting and giving opinions. I have met many good people with great intentions on this board over the years. Just some of my random thoughts. Lance

I hope you recover fully soon. I have enjoyed seeing you promote blues and being successful.

Personally I wish the good people would stay and communicate on the board. There is a great opportunity to learn insight to what people are doing and share in their success. I suggest we just use the ignore feature on the ones always stirring stuff up and putting people down. I just ignored my first one.

You are so right.

Having different opinions is fine. There have been many good people on the board who promote blues in their own ways. Unfortunately many of them only read now. A blueticker who has success and wants to share it is put down at times. I wish we would all just hit the ignore on the pot stirrers and keep having good debate and discussion. I really enjoy keeping up with the different lines and their success in all areas. Thanks for the responses.

In 2009

I had a friend of mine handle a hound for me in the zone hunts. I was hunting a different hound. He is a Black and Tan guy. He loved the time. His comments were about how bluetickers were just different. He really enjoyed the fellow bluetickers and the talk and discussions we all had at the hunts. He returned to several more and always looked forward to going because of the hounds and people.

Pastor Edwards experience at nationals this year was a perfect example of that. What a fun time. I really enjoyed meeting him and he seemed to have a great time. He took his hound to town and won. It was a blast.

Let's not let a few bad eggs who never show up effect our breed in a negative way. There are just too many good people with profitable things to share that won't live forever. We need to encourage them to continue to share what they've learned and experienced. I for one don't want to reinvent the wheel.

The best way to talk to the guys in the know,is to go to the big bluetick events,and talk to them.Every one of them are very nice guys that hunt hard,and talk very little.They for sure don't get caught up in the childish crap on here.
