R.I.P. Steve Vance

Steve Vance, Brandon Vance's dad, went home to be with the Lord yesterday a little before 5pm.

Steve had been ill for the past several months and was in the hospital for the past 3 weeks. He was 57.

Steve ran the trail circuit pretty frequently in the early to mid 2000's. He had a top 4 finish (I believe a 2nd place) at the World Hunt in the early 2000's and he loved to watch Brandon show a beagle. His family was the most important thing to him... and he spent his entire life doing his best to take care of them. He was a really good man, and will truly be missed.

I will post the arrangements as soon as I know them.

Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.

Steve's wake is tomorrow night at the freeman funeral home in chapmanville, wv from 6pm-9pm. His funeral is Friday at 1pm.
