Lets talk SOUP

I will be watching more closely this time when Annie comes in season... I will not be doing much traveling to breed her...this may be a problem when it comes time?? With that being said the big ?????
What to breed her too? she is a nt ch gr ch and has money won in the other kc
Huey x Reckon = Annie
she is getting older coming 8 in spring still in great shape and can and will be in front of most dogs on tracks but does not like fussing or crowding around a tree could be my fault for hunting her in to many hunts?
i'll be watching this one closely i would prefer that the sire be perf and ss but is not a must

O yea sry. mr. but Red is in front....this aint no quick to bark bucket dog ,big country ,thin coon,Red will impress and if he is anything like his handler was, he will love them older females....lol.......2 year old [jabo pup]

Mike and Bobby, I'd say Jake would cross well on Annie considering Reckon and Bone were brother and sister, but I'm being just a little bit bias

Mr Stevens I have a half sister to Annie. My female was a Rocker X Reckon.That was the last litter out of reckon.I bred my june female to Locked N Loaded Jake.I did that to stack Doc X Fiddle three times in a four gen. Ped.I kept a male nephew to Annie.Im not going to breed june again. I got what i was looking for a great pup to work with.I would like to sell my june dog and let someone elts breed her.The pistol dog was on my list.And Oklared brings up two good ones. I have not had the chance to hunt with john or train but they got my attention. Good luke with Annie.

I don't know when she comes in im horrible with that stuff I never write it down or keep up with when they come in im around them everyday and they are on concrete so I just go by when I see blood in there kennel
I like all the ideas everyone has it sure makes for some consideration

If your going to stay close to home you'll have to decide.
Steve O may work good. Those pa dogs should work also. Jake, Pistol ,Truck but I would also consider Sandy Creek Jake semen if it's available. There is a big dog from Illinois that does a bunch of winning also what's his name ?? Boone...Boone that's what you may want to try. That would be an interesting pedigree.

Ask yourself, what traits you would need to improve on Annie. So you can win even more $ with the next one :-). Then find out which stud would throw those traits. Time flys, do what it takes to get what you need, you won't have this option forever.

Just saw this post. Kelly, you are close, Boone is from Indiana

. About a half an hour from Illinois. I beleive Bobby and I hunted together with Annie a couple of years ago at Reddog days in Brazil when Boone was younger. I think I had just made him night champion a few days before and was lucky enough to get to hunt with Bobby and Annie. We had a good hunt I believe.

All I can say is if you take the time to look at what the pedigree would look like if these two dogs got crossed it would be a perfect example of a SUPERCROSS.

jkhutch I believe me and Jake were on that cast too. And if I remember correctly all three dogs hunted good together and we did have a Great night of hunting! Boone was pretty young when we drew out with Annie wasent he?

Bred her back to shooter that cross produced the best young dog I've ever been in the woods with. Shooter put the drive in then.

I beleive you are right Corey. I think Annie won are cast didn't she? Boone was 28 months old at the time. We did have a fun cast that night with some great company. Those good cast stick with me. I try to forget the bad ones

thanks matt I had to cross her on shooter but don't know about the second cross thing
keep em coming guys like I said I will not travel far maybe I should be looking in a different way of leasing or just letting somebody take her and raise pups and I get half of what they sell for and a pup or something like that???
annie needs a cast win to go over 2000$ in pkc earnings but I will not try to push to any higher titles she is to old I will be looking for something younger to hunt that can and will win

Is she a full littermate to Bubba

Bobby can you post maybe 3 generation ped on her.

If she is littermate to bubba dean has that ped on his thread.
