NRBD High Scoring Op Sex - Gr.Nt.Ch. Ragged Ridge Toadie

I have hunted with alot of redbones over the past 3 years in competition and trying dogs to buy. I have hunted with Toadie about 6 or 7 times in good weather and bad....and mostly in rough, hilly terrain where the coons were tough to tree. Of all the redbones I have hunted with Toadie has been one of the most consistent coon tree'ers and winners in competition that I have hunted with. People who hunt Redbone Days each year know how hard it is to get 3 straight cast wins through that hunt and Toadie is one of the few who has done it over the years. She gets deep, she likes to get by herself and above all....she will have the coon when she trees. She has to be in the top three of all redbones I have EVER hunted with for accuracy!
She is a proven winner in UKC and PKC. She has won with Keith handling, and she has won with Keith's young son Austin handling. She is a solid, consistant coon dog. I am not sure what Keith's plans are for breeding Toadie in the future....but anyone who is serious about competition hunting and may be looking for a pup in the future should take a long hard look at booking a pup out of Toadie. Keith is a straight up guy who starts and trains many young dogs each year and he is a hard hunter who will treat you right.

I was glad to draw the Toad on Saturday night. I had heard a lot of good things about this female. I just wish my dog would have decided to play as well. Toadie got deep and had the coons.

Thanks Shane and everyone else for the kind words about Toadie and my sons accomplishments. She has been hunted very little since March, I had surgery at the first of April and she had pups May 11th. She was hunted about 7 times before National Redbone Days. I wasn't sure she would hold up for the 3 day hunt but she came threw with the wins. This confirms what Shane is talking about with this dog. She is a nice dog in shape or out, on any terrain, in any weather but she is just a dog she has good nights and bad like every dog. It has been a fun journey walking behind her and I hope that there are many more miles to walk before something happens to her. I hope she keeps it up for the rest of the year. The big hunt are about to start and I expect to be there with the best of them if the good lord sees fit. I want to give a special thanks to the whole Ragged Ridge Kennels and there breeding program for giving me the opportunity to follow such a nice dog. Thank you Roger Hall. The old man is still winning threw his pups. I told you that I had a winner from the start. Thanks again to everyone and god bless each and everyone of you.

Her pedigree is posted on the Boone...at stud thread..Toadie is line bred Roger Hall's Ragged Ridge hounds. Toadie and Fixins daddy are littermate s. Toadie is a coon dog. This is old news to me. She competes against some of the best every week. By herself with two looking down is how she roll s. If you dont believe it call Keith and go for a hunt.
