I can already tell you what kind of replies you are going to get. Most will say they have lots of track power. Most will also say they lack tree power. I've seen this discussed several times on here.

The people selling em' will say one thing .. and the folks who have bought em' will tell you a different view , lol.

Albert dogs are not as popular as they once were ... lots of speed and nose , but with Two Time so far back in pedigrees and nothing currently setting the hunts or stud pen on fire ... the Albert dogs are dwindling.

The folks that say they tree so good and how good Two Time was ... shoulda been sharing that good stuff more or something

It's hard for a dog as good as Two Time was to reproduce as good or better than he was. There are a lot of good solid hounds out there with Albert blood behind them. As far as getting information about them I wouldn't call anyone but Gene or Mitch Loggins.

Is right I own a nice young dog lots of Albert blood but don't think it's what it once was kinda like the song lol. Yes Todd knows some about Albert not a kick on my ole bud but Mitch Loggins knew two time inside and out he was the handler also ole Floyd wasn't a scrap peace of meat either. Gene will tell you what he's got but its not what he had lol. Mitch has some nice dogs now shotgun and monkey.Albert blood he has may be the best left in the Albert line . I've hunted with his dogs and there nice hounds Mitch don't hit the hunts like he once did. Family comes first now for him but he's still got some dog power in the Albert line. Call him he loves talking dogs heck he just likes talking lmbo. Sorry Mitch couldn't resist.

When u say ALBERT line: I look at it only one way. For it to be an Albert dog it would have to be Albert bred top and bottom to be a true ALBERT bred dog. If it is Half Albert and half something else,then it is not a Full Albert dog.
There are not many around that are heavy Albert top and bottom. However ,i do own one that is one of few Heavy,Heavy Albert bred dogs. Alberts Black Creek Molly, ( TRUE ALBERT DOG)
She has a nose better than most hounds you will ever hunt with.
She will flat get deep alone or with company. When she gets hooked,load your gun.Molly is one of the most accurate dogs i have
ever been in the woods with.
I also have another female that is double Albert and Double Hobo Hoss,she is ten months old and 3 grnd will not buy her. Albert dogs are noted for exceptuonal tracking ability ,hunt, and accuracy.
6 Time ALBERT is what i call a true ALBERT DOG,he is just as i described Molly. TWO TIME ALBERT WAS ONE OF THE GREATEST DOGS OF ALL TIME IN OUR BREED.ALBERT DOGS HAVE BEEN IN THE WINNERS CIRCLE FOR MANY YEARS.The majority of the top dogs of today,carry ALBERT blood in em.As for me,there will always
be Albert blood in my dogs.As with any line of dogs ,some make it and some dont.Just the way it is.

Any of these men can tell u anything u wanna know.
If yiu get the right ALBERT DOG,THEY ARE AWESOME,
IF YOU DONT,YOU DONT.Just like all lines,every pup dont make it.

as always mine are here for anyone's inspection! pedigrees are on the stud dog board under loggins mtn. monkey and loggins tn. shotgun however shotgun is double albert and double supersting bred ! he is out of monkey which is all albert on top with a shot of minehart, and myers breeding! if anyone wants to see them go give me a day or so notice! 423-836-2130 THEN YOU CAN BE THE JUDGE, TO SEE IF THESE ALBERT BRED DOGS STILL HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE CALLED COONDOGS! Yes Mike,Mitch knows a lot about Albert dogs.
Jeff Hester ,knows a ton about em.
Nobody knows more about em than Gene.

Mike,I meen no offense,but i read what you posted.
Im gonna have to disagree with ya on one part.
It just depends on What you call an ALBERT dog.To me it has to be top and Bottom. You said Mitch may have some of the finest Albert dogs today. Well i only own one true ALBERT DOG ,( MOLLY)
Mitches dogs are not All Albert.So you would have to call em part ALBERT and Part Minehart bred. I assure you Gene has as nice of Albert dogs as Mitch or anyone else.And as far as that goes,Gene has dogs that can compete with any line out there. Mitch is my friend,but to suggest his dogs are better than Genes.I cant agree.
Mitch has good hounds and so are Genes. Without Gene,me and Mitch neither one would have any ALBERT BLOOD. Me and Mitch both call Gene the Godfather.I think Mitch will agree with what im saying. I only own one true ALBERT DOG. The rest of mine are Part Albert and part Hobo Hoss.I do have my pup ,u saw that is heavy Albert bred ,he shows Two Time 6 times in his ped,but i dont call him all Albert ,because BATMAN IS HIS SIRE.

Albert is alike alot of lines ... the originator and his neighbor have good ones and can brag on em' all day ... they hunt with em' and know which gyps to get a pup from and trade back and forth to burn through pups til' they get one they like.

But , that don't do anyone any good that is sending top dollar and shipping to get a pup from a litter yall locals don't picked clean or from a gyp the locals passed on ... the truth is great , but the whole truth is better!

Our Jericho is Albert , Two Time and Diamond Bill .... he can float tracks that most dogs have to work for and can tree , not just lean on a tree with his tongue hanging out .

But , it took alot of culling to get him .. the culling is why he's good , not the pedigree.

Sounds like your saying Mitch is a puppy factory? Know him well and know for a fact Mitch don't raise but one or two litters a year mostly for his on use but never has to wait on a pup to get gone ! There spoke for before there born. There is no doubt you got what you say in your dog good for you hope you raise more! But you have never seen mitches dogs if he breeds he knows what he's got he dont need a factory good luck on your breeding . Good luck Justin with your dogs and this is not a pissing match lol.

You have a right to be wrong!!! That's your world you need to look at your friends papers lol. Hey I've set and talked to gene my self!!! If you think I'm kicking him or downing him your wrong again. And if you think he has the dog power he use to have well you would be wrong again. Like to debate as good as any but there's not one here. Now in 8 or 9 months things might change . But any dog on a given night can win! But to be consistent is a diffrent level of dog . Also with due respect to you and Mitch I don't need to ask I've got a brain I can think lol. But glad we can state a opinion and still hunt one night right. Fire back but be nice

I said .... most every line is kept going by locals that can get pups from the breeder or his friends for free or without shipping and can personally pick through them and the bitches they are out of .

Mitch , Gene , Todd , Hester.... of course they have the good ones , they are in the thick of it ...

But , they also shouldn't turn a blind eye or ear to testimony after testimony from folks that have tried the blood from outside the circle .

Not going to ruffle your feathers but Mitch travled all over the country hunting dogs for gene Mitch hunted two time 80 percent of the time. He crossed his line of dog in to genes line of dog . Now he's got what he's got . You know he don't get on here a blow or play but I'm sure enough people know Mitch and he won the right way honest and I'm sure a few will fill you in on him and how he hunts!! You also know he want blow a dog up!! Any one wants to see what he's got bring boots light dog what ever you got. Now you know what he's got first hand. Enough said. Ole gene got some fine hounds no doubt. Got a bitch out of Mitch's stock hang on bud you will here a out her. He's got her now . How many dogs has he put a title on in the last two years or helped with. Some say slick handler??? Ask gene !! You and I know better. You ever hunt against monkey and Mitch ? You tell me!! Also not looking for him to tell me genes dogs are better than his just put them in the woods no one show wonders I want a consistent dog that dog you can depend on. Been fun but all I can take of the coonhunting days of our lives soaps.

One of the best hounds I ever owned was Nite Ch. Hiatts Little Albert . He was out of Big Time Albert And Shady Lady. Born 1994 Died here 2007. Track driver ,Hard tree dog. 98 percent accurate.Gene talks about desire and accurate. that what i like.

No,Justin didnt get to hunt with him,but when 100,s of men that hunt other breeds tell you how he destroyed casts over and over.
You get the picture. The way Mitch described 2 Time.
I venture to say ,there may never be another. I have heard more men
tell me about 2 Time and his Freakish ways of dominating casts.
Got struck fast stayed open and could get hooked fast. Had several say he could take tracks away from dogs and leave em sitting and be in there treed waiting on em. When everybody that hunted with him says the same thing.( he had to really be something.
I guess thats why ,Gene,Mitch and myself ,still hunt this line.Hoping fo another 2 Time Albert.

Oh yes Justin,dont think i havent Considered Magic Sue.Wait till i get my papers back on my BATMAN X MOLLY PUP. I WILL POST ON BOARD AND U CAN SEE HOW MANY TIMES Sue is in his ped.

Justin some check before they settle some dont. Im figuring out the
ones crossed on some nute and hoss blood,hook a lil faster,with less checking.
