Several people in the Bible came back to life. It didn't always take someone to ask them to come forth either.

lazarus as well as others were raised from death,healed,regained ther sight,lame walked,walked on water and through water on dry ground and many other miracles were done to show that God and Jesus were as real as they said they were,that people would believe and turn from there ways that was not pleasing to God.God is still doing those miracles today if we just take time to look around and think about whats happening around us now.

miracles were performed as signs and wonders by God, Jesus and the aposales to convince and unbeliving world that there was, is a GOD.
Since the bible has been closed, or finished, God hasn't performmed miracles because he has given us the bible, it's everything we need. of course GOD can perform miracles but he doesn't because it didn't work in biblical times and it won't work now. we're to live by faith, not sight. to some, the rising sun is miracle but that is a normal routine and not done to prove a point.

Miracles

croatankid - I don't know about the god you are talking about. I serve a living God and He most assuredly still does miracles. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. He doesn't only do miracles to show He is God. He does miracles because He is God. He does them to show His love for us for whom he gave His only Son.

I can tell you about two involving just my grandfather. The first time a scan showed a tumor on a lung. He was prayed for and the church anointed him. When he went in to get the next set of tests done to get it removed there was no evidence it was ever there. A simialr thing happened with a brain tumor as big as an orange. When he went for follow up to start the process of getting it removed there was no trace of it. We serve a big God who does miracles because He loves his people. He can do anything we need if we have the faith to believe it can happen and ask.

god controls every thing that goes on in our life he trys to keep us on the good path but i am as guilty as alot of folks sometimes we let the devil come into our lives then wonder why we are having such a terrable live my opion on this is we don't have enough faith in god even though i try to be faithful i still stary a bunch
