thanks don , we appreciate it. we really feel blessed to accomplish what we did and we owe alot of gratitude to the folks that helped make it happen.
lock down luke and real deal ramblin red were both raised here at lock down kennels. [ luke was whelped by leornard simpson ]
trained by ourselves
handled by ourselves
then placed 2nd and 3rd by a father step son team at ard on the same night .
so we really feel blessed.
brian has done a great job with ramblin red and he is excited about the future.
learnord's program and the great work accomplished through y2kd has been a great help to us and i really feel the future is going to even be brighter.
we intend on producing a new breed of red dog that will meet the needs of our area and hopefully be a asset for the entire breed in a whole. appreciate everyone; thanks, mike grimes

ps. got some good crosses coming up in the near future

seen old luke display some accuracy last night, man do i like that in a dog. also seen him work a track 175 yards before the other dogs could smell it. can't wait to be hunting some lukesters before long.

Congrats!

Keep up the good work!
Mike

appreciate it rattler, boy does the future look good with a full blooded sister to luke standing out in the kennel. she is a looker and she has the mouth to go with it. hope she displays the same natural ability and drive that her brother did at a young age.

takes about 1 1/2 hours to make the drive, probably 90 miles

my wife

Becky walked into first tree last nite [in her nursing uniform and shoes] straight up a clearcut mountain side....you should have seen her smile and heard her talkin up Red when we found that coon ...not one complaint. she only said shes getting her a better light and some boots...shes hooked...my only fear is that shes gonna want her own hound that ill have to do most of training, and then she beats me with it...lol she would love that.Again, thanks for the dog Mike the blessings continue........

Posted by mrg on 07-12-2013 10:37 PM:

tell becky if she wants her own, i will send it shortly. the least you could do is train it for her. she has sure put some time into red herself you know. this next litter of pups i guess i need to start sending her some pics to get the ball rolling. lol

we have bred 3 females with luke recently and have another one coming up soon. we have been blessed and hopefully a good plan will begin to come together in the near future. we have our focus on ~~DRIVE and MOUTH~~ for the near term and it looks like we may have a promising future. HOPEFULLY there will be little lukesters running around before long.
