Most impressive dog you've ever hunted with?

Seems like now a days everyone has got a pretty decent dog that trees coons, and we all know the great ones are rare, and few and far between. Don't get me wrong, I've hunted with and against some very nice dogs, but I still believe that I'm yet to hunt with a dog that just really blew me away, and made me say "WOW!" I'm curious to know who was the most impressive dog you've ever hunted with? Weather it was pleasure hunting and the dog was putting on a coon treeing clinic or in a cast, in which they just plain dominated. I want to hear about some of them.

Grnitech PR' Rock River Tell's Sandy, owned by David Hart of Paragould, AR. She is 9 years old and still impresses me everytime I go with her.

Gr Nt Ch Hackers Creek Cinby is probably the most impressive I have seen go. Didnt matter the weather time of year or how dry it was she would trail them coons up and have em. She was still doing it with style at a ripe 10 years old. She was also a pretty good reproducer.

Daniel Wilsons Gr Nt Ch Skuna River Fred Bear (Hank) is the most recent dog I have hunted with that has all the tools I look for in a hound. Huge mouth, big hunting deadly accurate and the prettiest tree dog I have ever heard or seen.

Nitech Holcombs Roscoe, owned by Randy Holcomb. He's out of Cabin Creek Jim. Has a coon when he trees ,period. Now you may have to walk afew miles every time you cut him loose but he goes where the coon are. He fell off a bridge and broke his ankle or randy would still be comp. hunting him. I don't think Roscoe knows what a a den looks like, lol. He's 11 I believe and can be In the kennel for 2months and make it look easy.

GRNITECH Nocturnal Dutch owned by Phil Kittel and Frank McLauren. I hunted with him nightly for 3 years, the dog just treed coons, anywhere, any time and forevermore had a HORN.

Treeslammin' Hillbilly was an impressive dog too every time I saw him go.

Gordy Seabert has a little blue English female named Main Street sis that is as good as they get. She always seems to be better than what ever you put her on the ground with.

From the past Charlie Smith had one called star and man let me tell ya that little gyp could get it done anywhere anytime.

I like to the think that I still haven't walked behind the best one ill ever see go. With this mind frame I at least have something to look forward to. Many moons ago I hunted with a pretty darn good one named Orion. He's long since dead and gone.

Jerry W. Mc Neils Hickory Nutt Super Lawyer and Randall Colemans Pee Dee River Casey were 2 great ones, I was lucky to have owned one that I consider to be rated with the ...BEST TRACK DOGS...Reedy Creek Bud could run up front with the fox dogs back in the day, just was short on mouth

.

Pee Dee River Casey
Hardwood Dan

Casey I only hunted with once but he was perfect that night and outclassed the other dogs by a bunch. The best one night of dog work I have seen.

Hardwood Dan I hunted with and was spanked by more times than I care to remember. He was a very, very good hound.
Beatable but you better have your A game to do it.

Little bit of a joke but the most impressive dog I've ever hunting with is a female. She is built like a 5 gallon bucket body with a solo cup head and not a foot and a half tall. She'd get her own and some of yours to in a hunt. I hate drawing that little turd. I'm saying she's impressive is because of how short her legs are and she can sho nuff get through yonder to your tree lol!!

For me, there's a few that come to mind! All but one were real good competition dogs, and the other one, just a coon treeing machine! He was an English Redtick out of Meeks John. He could win in competition, he place him 3rd in the PCA world hunt and he placed 3rd in registered @ Autumn Oaks. His name was Berry's Amos!
The others were my Slammer dog, Tom Purdys Rambler, and Leon Childers Zeus dog, way back in the 80's! You ought to have heard this hound come on the wood......awesome! Big ol down in his throat locate, and a steady, never miss a bark tree dog!

Hardwood Dan was very good quick and smart also.

A Redbone named ummm!!! (I can't remember , but was from Minnesota and owned by a guy named Shane Marceys Not Sure on Spelling owned him) Drew him 2 years in a row out of Albany @ Winter Classic I saw him in South Ga Swamps make 6 trees alone and had coons in everyone of them..... Real common mouth hunted hard treed avg., always had 2 lookin down. LOL I know that was only 2 nights ,but he wasn't your avg dog. You can bet the farm on that.

and best one night performance pleasure hunting was Slife's Blue Rambo

The Red Dog's Name was STORM thought of it last night. Shouldn't have forgot heard ............. "STORM TREED" FOR 125 ALL NIGHT BOTH TIMES.........LOL
