Examples of successful father daughter crosses?

Been laid up in bed for a few days and have been doing some thinking.

What are some examples of dogs within the Bluetick breed that came from a father / daughter or mother / son cross? Thanks for the help.

saw Joe Johnson do it years ago and it worked

bred one of mine to her uncle and got one out of that cross here now that is sure an awful nice female. She could have won her share if I still ran the hunts.

Eddie Green is a good example of this type of cross. If your talking dogs only then then disregard.

Ohio Hammer II

Bill is right. Everyone that hunted with old Brandy said she was a top Coon Hound. She was out of Ohio Hammer II and his daughter. A lot of the well know blues carry her in their PED. Dave Woofter

cross

Had an accident with my red heeler cattle dogs 4 years ago. Father daughter deal. I was gonna knock em in the head but my mother found em first. She raised them and gave them away to neighbors. The three I know about one turned out exactly like his dad excellent dog all the good traits times two. It had glass eyes. Never scene that in my line. One turned out good not around it enough to know how good. One was an idiot and had terrible allergys.

mleck I don't know you at all but I am embarrassed by how much I laugh at some of the s@!# you say on this board! I have awful hounds but I bet hunting with you would be fun.

Don't let that mleck fool you hes a pain in the you know what and full of it most the time

First

The first one that I ever actually knew of was completely a success!! I bet some of the older hunters would know the man that made that cross. His name was Bill Dansby. I got a female and she started herself, trained herself, and even would every time come in to you if the dogs were on trash.

LOL Some people take this to serious but most of their seriousness revolves around being jealous of others. I have seen alot of people in this sport become friends and enimies all in the same month. I can honestly say these dogs take a far back seat to the friends I have made in this sport and every single night I go hunting I do it because I enjoy it and have fun doing it. We can go tree 30 coon in a night and if we are not laughing and having fun doing it that will be the last night hunting for me even if it is just me and my dog.

My Inga female was a father daughter cross out of Smokey river Chief. One of the best personalities a dog ever had. She was just fun to be around and hunt.

She also threw great pups and was 3rd place on the reproducers list for several years. All of her pups were natural starters and well balanced on track and tree power.

nitech.sadie 2 is the product of a mother x son cross she was also queen of ashland spring hunt a few years back.

dualgrch.ben and dualgrch.music were littermates(dualgrch.n.bl.sampson's diam.rock x grch.will's creek stinging sadie)

Come and go for a hunt--they speak for themselves

Dave, a lot of these dogs descending from ole Brandy have a trademark "Quiver" Locating Bawl. Some have it on track as well. James always told me that came from ole Brandy. Did either of her parents have it or Hammer V?

Thanks,
Vic
