IT WAS BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION THAT IN :O'S" 2ND TERM HE WOULD CONCENTRATE ON THE DEFICIT AND UNEMPLOYMENT! SINCE THEN, ALL HE'S TRIED TO DO IS DESTROY THE SECOND AMENDMENT!!! PLEASE SOME OF YOU LIBBIES CORRECT ME, IF I'M WRONG!!!

I have heard the big O talk more about safety in football than fixin the economy.I quess when its this bad, this long,It's normall.

The constitution is only good to a certain point for certain people and this why obama's election fair as it was will never be recognized by those certain people. If you people honestly think President Obamas birth cert is a fake you really need help. He served as Illinois state senator before becoming pres.You really think he could go that long on a fake birth cert. wouldnt think the republicans in Ill would let that go. Didnt see you guys saying he had a fake one when he was senator but i guess it only matters since your guy got beat out for president by him. Your Blinded By HATRED !!!! Article I, Section 3 of the Constitution sets three qualifications for senators: 1) they must be at least 30 years old, 2) they must have been citizens of the United States for at least the past nine years, and 3) they must be inhabitants of the states they seek to represent at the time of their election.

Ronald Reagan was tougher on gun control then this pres. It was under his watch the Brady bill was passed, he also spoke out against assault weapons.

The second amendment says the right to bear arms and form a well regulated militia. What is the definition of well regulated, and who is supposed to regulate it.

This was an idea that the citizens could protect themselves against a tyranical gov. That was when the army and the citizens had the same weapons, rifle, sword, bayonet. That all changed when a couple of Ohio boys went to a place called Kitty Hawk and defied gravity for the first time. Do you really think that if the govt wanted to supress the people they would come and knock down your door and take your gun first, really. What would all the guns in the world do against an Arleigh Burke class guided missle destroyer parked in the great lakes that can put a ballistic missle the size of a coupe deville in your living room at a 1000 miles, or a stealth bomber dropping smart bombs at 30,000 feet, or better yet one of the many unmanned drones that are flying over the unprotected, southern border.

I guess now the people should have the "right" to anti aircraft weapons, anti-tank mines and radar, so that the literal interpretation of protecting ourselves against an tyranical govt can be possible.

No gun control. Gun regulations. I can get any gun here you can get. Have to be registered at time of purchase and have to have a criminal background check.

By the way, proud US citizen, Navy vet. Double history major, as well as a constitutional gov minor. Moved for oppurtunity not because I dislike my country, and you my friend are no more of an American then me!
