Barney

This hound is as solid as they come, he can be a little tight on track at times but also will give good track (bawl) for the most part he will be 2nd to 3rd stick dog. Very nice tree dog (bawl chop then into all chop) most of the time he will be a first tree when he is not he tennds to go find his own and also when he is not the coon is not there most of the time. very indepent hunts close at first and if he doesnt find one he will check out and find one. not much of a pack dog he will be with other hounds put seems to me like they will be following him.Trys hard to slip away if he can. Never has ran a deer has treed a smiley a hand full of times.(quote from Jim Kurk, Never seen him tree with out the coon there) 919-740-0739, well I have he is not perfict but he can do a nice job 90% of the time. He is about 80 lbs very fast and never seems to get tired the more you cut him the harder he goes. Barney has a full head of brains listen learns and has a one track mind to hunt coons.If anyone is looking to add to what they have and thinks he can be an asset to the breed and the cross is good give me a call. I have bred him to my Magic dog and pups are due Feb 10-13 they will be SS and PERF.

Magic

1st stike medium high bawl sound on track, if she stikes its a coon and nothing else. Drives track nice and steady never over shoots. She is about a 2nd to 3rd tree dog but most of the time she will locate first then check and then fall treed in to a solid chop, chews a little at the tree. She is not a hound that you will put your hands on until she gets treed, pretty accurate. Sometimes real junky woods with alot of blow over will get her fumbled up but she usually gets it worked out. hunts hard and fast in comp. but seems to turn that switch off when with a pup and turns on the slow go switch. hunts close or deep just depends on what the coons are doing that night. medium load. JUST THOUGHT I WOULD PUT SOMETHINGS ON HERE ABOUT MY HOUNDS THAT ARE GOOD ABOUT THEM. NOW THE BAD IS THAT THEY ARE DOGS THEY ALL HAVE BAD NIGHTS AND TIMES BUT WITH THESE 2 THEY SEEM TO BE FEW AND FAR BETWEEN BY KNOW MEANS ARE THEY WORLD BEATERS BUT DARN SURE HOLD THEIR OWN WITH ANY OTHER HOUND OR BREED. AND DO IT ON A CONSISTANT PASSES. Thanks for reading god bless on have a wounderful night in the woods

Thanks Bubby me and Barney had a fun time last night he played around in a field for about 30 min for some reason then he came by me and went the other way stuck at about 350 ran it for 900 or so and put it up there was a den next tree over but he stayed on him enough to get up before he got home. did about the same on last drop minus the field work he did and added a a smilley along with a coon so not sure if he messes with one or if it was just there at the same time the coon was. who knows, had fun

It has been a low point around my house for a few days Magic lost all her pups Thursday afternoon she is fine but all pups past shortly after they came out dont know why vet checked her out and the pups and nothing showed up wrong, who knows wasnt ment to be
