With the classic moving out to mississippi, it might be that this hunt's entries grow some too. I konow the economy is bad, and will get a lot worse unless America wakes up in NOV., but one would have to think there will be some growth for a change. I sure hope so.

The exact dates are in the Bloodlines or in Cooner. Ukc will have a banner for it on the front page of this site very soon as well I would image.

Best way to remember it tho is it is ALWAYS the first weekend after New Years. It is ALWAYS held in Orangeburg, SC.

I DONT THINK YOU WILL SEE MUCH GROWTH IN THE GRAND AMERICAN BUT I DO THINK YOU WILL SEE SOME GROWTH IN THE WINTER CLASSICS WITH ITS NEW LOCATION.......

You just plain can't get much Plainer than That LOL It always has been . The only question I heard was a couple years ago when the 1st was on a Satydy and it got folks from the West Coast to wonderin, LOL But it ought to be pretty dang obvious this year , LOL

It is ALWAYS the First FULL WEEKEND after New Years. Not a quarter weekend ;, not the weekend after that full weekend . THE FIRST FULL WEEK END after the First Day of the year . Got nothing to do with Religion or the Solar system. Just the first Full Weekend. Let's make sure we vote before November 25 if you ain't got that..

I emailed David this morning on that. We have a hunt Saturday and I told him I could pick the list up then. Bless his heart! He's stretched out! Ill post them ASAP!

The dates for 2013 are Jan 3rd - 5th. See ad in CoonHound Bloodlines or American Cooner
3rd- coonfest @ 2:30pm
David Cooler @ 8pm
4th- show entry deadline 10am
hunt entry deadline -12-2pm
5th- show entry deadline 10am
hunt entry deadline -12-2pm
all hunt entries must be postmarked by Dec. 10th 2012

The Grand American is the first weekend in January with one exception. When the first falls on Friday or Saturday it is the next weekend. So it is not always the first weekend or the first full weekend. This doesn't happen again until 2016.
