Tritronic Nightrazor
I got one of the Tritronics Nightrazor lights and love it. Extremely lightweight and most of all no cord running to a battery pack. The rechargeable light will shine 40 hours on normal in the low setting, 10 hours on medium, 5.2 hours on high and 2.7 hours on super high. It you switch the light to the flashing or strobe mode, it will double your battery life. It also comes with red and amber lens covers and another cover that disperses the light when walking. Low setting is all the light you will need when walking.
I have never been a fan of a headlamp until I tried this one.
Adios,
Gary
i love mine its awsome an i hated anything but a belt light till now

best caplight I have ever seen. I got a brand new Belt light I havn't used since I got mine.
Its awesome
I still wear my lazer pro though if I'm going to a hunt were I need the extra brightness to find a coon in a taller tree. But other than that I love it as well.
I love my Tri tronic Night razor. Here is a secret you can do to avoid spending $15 for a red or amber lens. If you know of someone that has a sunburst light and has some colored lens. They will fit in between your light and the clear lens that comes with the light. Try it sometimes it fits perfect and works great. JMO

It is great to see that we can all agree on something, doesn't happen very often on this site!!!
Thanks and Adios,
Gary
Ok now time for a disagreement, has anyone used a Nightrazor and been able to compare it to a Predator light? I like the idea of not have to carry a huge battery, but if it is like the Predator, then I don't want it. I personally would only use the Predator light for walking because it sure ain't made to check trees. Just would love to hear any comparisons.

Its just so light and easy nothing extra to mess with or get in the way. Dims down pretty good and with the walking filter cover really spreads the beam out. I love it tio. Pretty much the only light I use now. I just wish it was a little brighter but that's never kept me from seeing the coon.
if its not as bright as what iam using then to me iam no better off,,only commenting on people that replied still carring other lights ??

I've had one for about three months and haven't touched one of my various other belt and cap lights in this time. Hunted with it one night from 10 PM until about 4:30 AM, the whole time spent walking to trees in the same woods, and no problems with battery life or power. And I leave the diffuser cover on the light for shining most trees. It's a handy little light.
Is this light as bright as a 21 volt belt light with a 5100 head? If it is, I think I will buy one.
Thanks, Mark
Here's a video showing use of the Night Razor on a coon GRNITECH Frito treed on an old bur oak. It was about 3 AM after continuous hunting since about 10 PM and the light was going strong. I run it on the high side all the time and haven't seen it fade. I found this coon with the diffuser pop cover in place and then pulled the cover off and lit the coon. It's a narrow but bright beam of light. The beam is also square; not round like other lights. It takes some getting used to, but the light weight takes no time getting used to it..

I am in the semi-desert country of SW Texas and use the diffuser when shining trees as well. Most of my trees average 20' tall. If I hunted the creeks and rivers around here, some trees get up to 70' but the coons don't run as well there so I avoid those places.
I use the low setting for walking and collaring dogs.
Adios,
Gary
I have one and its great, lightweight, good battery life, kicks the hell out of the predator light...
I don't understand how such a lightweight, bright and cordless light doesn't get more attention. I wonder if it has to do with where they advertise or if its more of a "I'm too old and onery to change now, all you young whippersnappers don't know whablahblahblahcoonsblahblahshiningblahobamablahbl
ah"
Awesome with a capital A!!! Super light!

I bought one the beginning of June and so far I love it. Use it pleasure hunting and at the hunts. We have some big cottonwood trees here and I haven't seen any yet that the light wasn't plenty bright to shine. More importantly it's plenty dim on the low side. Hands down the best light I've ever owned. Next to the Garmin it's the best money I've spent on coon hunting gear.

I really enjoy my light as well. I leave the walk lens on mine all the time. Just wish the color lens were a little bit cheaper cause $15 is a lot of money for a color lens to me. But the light is great!!

I am with you PRITCHARD, I use the walking lens only as the light is plenty bright in this short tree desert country. I go weeks without charging. Weighs very little and no cords going to battery packs!
Adios,
Gary
I have one and use it during the summet cuz it dims down and this time of year if you don't catch an eye you ain't finding it...when the leaves fall the sunspot is coming back out
As for a lens mine didn't come with one so I bought taillight sticky tape...cut it out and stuck it to the lens...on the second click its deadly I'm finding a lot more coon

Same here I normally use mine in summer then I use sunspot in the winter. I will have to try the taillight tape.
